From my calls to make and change and change reservations to the hostesses pleasantly walking outside to get us, to the atmosphere of the Tierney room and our wait person Kurtis that held me to my 3 drink limit of that delicious sweet tea and stop the presses on The 5 Star Drunken Ribeye"Chef's Kiss" We were a party of 10 celebrating Father's Day and Patsy's had something for everyone, great ribs for my husband to tasty salmon and crab cakes for our son and daughter and burgers for our grandchildren and The Carlyle Old Fashion was made just has my other daughter like it. PASTY'S did not disappoint, if we could we'd give it 10 stars.
Thank you all for an enjoyable evening.

We had dinner at Patsy's American Restaurant in Tysons Corner, Virginia and really enjoyed it. We started with the chips and spinach dip, which was creamy with great flavor. The salads were fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. Service stood out the most. Our waiter was wonderful: attentive, friendly, checked in at the right times, and made sure we had everything we needed. The laid-back atmosphere and good food make it a great spot for a relaxed meal in Tysons. Order the $1 bread basket, it goes toward charity. Make a reservation before you go.
I had a great experience at Patsy’s American. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with soaring ceilings, exposed brick, warm lighting, and a lively atmosphere that somehow still feels comfortable and inviting. It is a great spot for lunch, dinner, or meeting friends after work.
We started with the warm bread and calamari. The calamari was lightly fried, tender, and served with a flavorful sauce that complemented the dish well. I ordered the Charleston Salad with fried chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and candied pecans. The salad was fresh, generous in size, and the chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy. The combination of flavors and textures made it a satisfying meal.
Service was attentive, and the restaurant was busy without feeling rushed. The dining room has an energetic feel, but the booths still provide enough privacy for conversation. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood, salads, sandwiches, steaks, and comfort food, making it easy for everyone in a group to find something they enjoy.
Overall, Patsy’s combines excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable dining option near Tysons Corner.

We love Patsy’s, so after being unable to get a reservation elsewhere for our party of eight, we decided to celebrate here. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the start.
We arrived at 3:35 p.m. for our 3:30 p.m. reservation and were not seated until 4:00 p.m. While being escorted to our table in the private dining room (which was assigned through the online reservation system), we were immediately informed that another reservation was scheduled for 6:00 p.m. While two hours may be enough time for a party of eight, it felt inappropriate to be reminded of our departure time before we had even been seated.
The food and our server were both excellent, and those aspects of the experience were truly enjoyable. However, throughout the meal we felt rushed. As 6:00 p.m. approached, the manager repeatedly passed by our room, making everyone increasingly uncomfortable and aware of the time.
The manager explained that the party before us had arrived late and stayed beyond their reservation time. I understand that situation was outside the restaurant’s control, but it wasn’t our fault either. We were seated 30 minutes late, yet still felt pressured to finish our meal so the next reservation could be accommodated on time.
The manager did graciously cover dessert, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, by that point we only had a few minutes left to enjoy it before needing to leave. Overall, the food and service were wonderful, but the delayed seating and constant feeling of being rushed took away from what should have been a relaxing celebration.

First, let me say that I think the restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately, our dining experience fell far short of expectations.
Our visit began with a 50-minute drive from Chevy Chase, Maryland, to Vienna, Virginia. We intentionally planned a lunch visit because we all know how difficult traffic can be in that area. This was not my first visit to Patsy’s, which made the experience even more disappointing.
A significant part of the problem stemmed from what appeared to be inadequate server training. While our server was pleasant, a server’s role should go beyond simply taking orders. Great service means making guests feel welcome, regularly checking on the table, and proactively ensuring drinks are refilled before guests have to ask. Throughout our meal, we repeatedly had to flag down our server whenever we needed assistance, despite her frequently being nearby.
The food also presented several issues. I ordered the ribs and substituted the coleslaw for sweet potato fries because I have an allergy to mayonnaise (eggs). Despite clearly requesting the substitution, the meal arrived with coleslaw touching the ribs. Since cross-contact with allergens is a serious concern, I had to send the dish back. I specifically explained that the ribs themselves were no longer safe for me to eat because they had come into contact with the coleslaw.
When the dish returned, it appeared that the same ribs had simply been placed back on the grill. They came back with additional sauce and were noticeably overcooked and charred. A kitchen manager came to the table, and I explained the situation again. Because the ribs were now overcooked, I sent them back a second time. The manager ultimately took a replacement order for a cheeseburger.
During our visit, I also observed another guest receive a medium-rare ribeye steak that appeared heavily charred on the surface, which raised additional concerns about the kitchen’s execution and quality control.
As for the food itself, the portions were acceptable but not particularly generous. The larger issue was the lack of consistency and attention to detail throughout the meal.
To make matters worse, when our check arrived, the server had never removed the ribs from the bill despite everything that had occurred. We had to point this out before the check was corrected.
Overall, while the restaurant itself is attractive and has potential, the combination of poor service, improper handling of a food allergy, kitchen mistakes, and billing errors resulted in a very disappointing experience.
