  Intrigued by the reviews, and to start, they have an oddly fascinating and sorta cozy vibe inside for a gas station. They sell your usual staples but also packaged Indian snacks, beer, and a small array of utilitarian items including birthday candles (thoughtful!) For the food, it's a solid $5-10 less than other sit down Indian spots, maybe even closer to $10-15 less in this area. The trade off, you got some good chicken in the tikka platter and the dal was surprisingly good, I'd describe it as Indian refried beans in profile. Which yes is not normal, but was a vibe I didn't know I was into. The mango lassi was good. The naan was good and they use fresh garlic best I can tell. But they do have the trader joes frozen naan vibes. Not bad and for a $1-2 price point, I'm honestly good with it. The samosa burrito was very cardemom forward so if you're into that it has flavor and was a huge portion. Sounds like the burritos are where it's at here. So lean into that potato gutbomb kids. Now my biggest gripe was the tikka masala and paneer sauces. Had notes of Campbell's tomato soup and maybe ?ketchup as a base. It had some spices and positive notes but that very forward sweet tomato base was overpowering and a big notch down. It makes sense with the $13 price point, saves cost. But I probably wouldn't get it again.

  Love this place! The owners are really friendly and I like getting the platters here because you get a second curry with it and a gulab jamun.

  My friend and I visited chit chaat purely by chance. Do not be thrown off by the fact that the restaurant is in a gas station. If anything it gives it unique character. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but the burritos caught our attention immediately. I ordered the lamb and my friend tried the butter chicken. Both were so flavorful and yummy. I really appreciated that the tortilla was toasted and the lamb was tender. And what really made the experience wonderful was the kind service. I hope to go back soon.

  I had a pretty disappointing experience here. The ambiance felt very basic and low-effort, nothing that made the place feel welcoming or enjoyable to sit in. I specifically came for the golgappe/pani puri, but it was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. I would rate it maybe 1–2 out of 10. The pani (water) tasted off and unpleasant, and the potatoes to go with it had no flavor. The fries were okay, but that wasn’t what I came for. The cashier at the front wasn’t very welcoming either. He seemed somewhat indifferent and didn’t create a friendly or inviting atmosphere. Overall, I wouldn’t come back here again. Hopefully they improve the quality and customer service in the future.

  Food was good, enjoyed the flavors and textures. Was decently spicy so if you don't want spiciness, make a note of that. Three stars because it took 25 minutes to prepare during a non-busy time, and in my opinion the pricing is more aligned with a sit down restaurant where you get table service. I expect to go food from a gas station to be fast and cheaper than a stand-alone restaurant. For my online order there was a text to confirm the order and a text to delay the pickup time by 5 minutes, but no text to say the order was ready.
