  I couldn’t resist writing a review for Ti because she truly deserves the recognition. Ti provides outstanding customer service. She pays close attention to every customer’s order and makes sure everything is prepared exactly as requested. My order was perfect, and I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. What impressed me even more was that she treated every customer with the same level of care. While I was waiting in line, I watched her interact with the customers before me and after me. She greeted everyone with a warm smile, was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure they had a great experience. Employees like Ti make a huge difference. If every Starbucks or Safeway had someone like her, I would gladly buy my coffee there every single day. Thank you, Ti, for your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service. You made my day

  You lost me over $1.99. Customer service greatly depends on who is on shift. The Good: I got a carpet shampooer in a time of need; I was allowed to pick up a pack of toilet paper that was missing from my online order. Online shopping has been convenient despite the much higher prices compared to Target/Wal-Mart. The Bad: We got a pack of Safeway-brand hamburger buns in an online order ($1.99). My husband took the empty package in to ask for a refund (or replacement). The person on duty refused because he did not bring in the moldy buns. All of them had at least a quarter-size spot of mold except for 1.5 buns. We couldn't get to the store for a few days, and we were supposed to hang onto the moldy product. Get real! That's disgusting! And all over less than $2.50 with tax. We won't shop at this location again.

  Due to the federal holiday, the bank was closed and my husband went to break some bills at Safeway at the customer service desk and was treated poorly. The bills were thrown on the counter and stormed off. I called to complain and speak to the manager and Rick answered. I told him what has happened and asked who the employee was. He said it was him and apologized briefly. I don’t care what kind of day you’re having, but you don’t treat other people in that manner. It’s wildly inappropriate and not the way a manager should behave. We shop at this Safeway all the time and never encountered an employee that treated us this way. I hope he never treats anyone in this manner again.
