  I don't know that this is the best South American restaurant in Ashburn, but it is fighting in that weight-class. Our party started with the queso fundido with tajin tortilla chips and jerk chicken empanadas. 10/10, no notes. We had birria, bulgogi, and carne tacos, great flavor;tapas: bombas de queso, like melty bruschetta; patatas bravas con Manchego; gambad al ajillo, garlicy shrimp. We had the tostadas with salsa Verde and enchiladas de mole. The salsa was flavorful and not too hot. The mole had a richly developed flavor. The rice and beans were flavorful and appropriately small. We finished up with a church sundae, 4 church's with a scoop of ice cream, chocolate, caramel and whipped cream. So much food, presented so well. So reasonably priced. Don't miss an opportunity to try this restaurant! It is worth a pretty long drive.

  great food, drinks, and service. Came on Cinco de mayo and it was packed but they sat five of us in minutes. Burger was top notch and enchiladas yummy. Margaritas quite refreshing. Will be back

  I had an amazing experience at La Prensa in Sterling, VA during their cocktail‑making class. Our host, Samet, was outstanding — personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to learn from. He asked about the flavors we liked and tailored the drinks to our preferences, which made the class feel really customized. We made three excellent cocktails, each one creative and well-balanced. The atmosphere at La Prensa was warm, inviting, and perfect for a hands‑on class. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and unique night out. I’ll definitely be back — they also offer cooking classes and tequila/mezcal classes that I’m excited to try next.
