  Every time I have gone to this Giant, it has been one of my worst grocery store experiences – from the time I spent an hour at the customer service desk while they messed up a money order and had to call Western Union to fix it, to the most recent time where a customer and cashier that clearly had a prior rapport acted like I had committed a crime against them personally by not realizing the cart with two items parked a full 2 carts lengths away from the end of the checkout was actually in line. I was a cashier for years so I tend to be very forgiving. However, there are frankly too many competitors nearby, with 2 other big name grocery stores minimum in a 3 mile radius, for the staff at this store to be so rude.

  the self service check out system is very annoying. It just stopped 4 times in my small order because the scale is not set correctly. Any lighter item, like a box of salad or rice cakes don’t register. The weary attendant went from machine to machine adjusting the totals. Why? It’s a time waster and makes me feel like a sneaky thief. I’m not shopping there again.

  This Giant’s security and customer service are a joke. Every time I shop at this store, I have a bad experience. They clearly profile people of color. I’ve been followed every time I go into this store, yet they don’t follow or bother white customers. Here’s one example: One night, my boyfriend and I were shopping when a belligerent homeless man was threatening and harassing two young girls. My boyfriend and I stayed with them until management finally showed up. I’m tired of being profiled every time I shop here while real safety concerns are ignored.

  This store when I went on a Saturday had no fresh looking meat in the meat department, was expensive for subpar quality, and please your item in the bagging area at self check out loud and annoying makes me not want to ever go back. This is the closest grocery store to my house and would like to give it another chance but please place your item in the bagging area

  Staff do not care about customer service or experience. The deli counter is basically unmanned so good luck if you ever want anything from the counter. The woman ignored me for 10 minutes and was rude to me when she decided she was finally ready to serve me. (She was not doing other work or serving other customers). Self check out is abysmal and similar the staff there aren’t in a rush to help you either. I called customer service to share my experience with a manager and they left me on hold for 10 minutes and clearly don’t care to listen either.
