This is easily the most poorly managed location I’ve visited. The owner consistently understaffs the shop, often expecting only one or two people to handle the Dunkin' counter, the Baskin-Robbins side, and a busy drive-through all at once. Because they are so short-handed, the line regularly backs up onto the main road, which is a major safety concern. It's clear the staff is overwhelmed, but management needs to hire enough people to actually run all three components of this business safely and efficiently.

It's easter and there's only 2 workers present, the girl with the double braids did an amazing job attending us. Her kindness made my day, her vibe overall is perfect and easy to be around with.

This is unfortunately the only Dunkin’ location in Sterling, so I stop by from time to time, but my most recent visit was frustrating.
I was the first car in the drive-thru and placed a very simple order - avocado toast with bacon. For some reason, I was asked to repeat my order five times. I’m not sure if it was an issue with the intercom or something else, but it quickly became frustrating for such a basic order.
When I pulled up to the window, I waited about five minutes with no communication at all. No greeting, no explanation, nothing. A simple “we’ll be right with you” would have made a big difference.
When it came time to pay, I had my phone ready with my QR code, but I was told they needed to take my phone inside because the system was down, which I declined. Then my credit card was taken and the employee walked away without saying anything. That was honestly the most concerning part of the experience. Basic communication and security awareness are important, and leaving with a customer’s card without explanation is not acceptable.
To be fair, the employee herself was polite, and I understand it may not have been entirely her fault, she may have been dealing with internal issues or system problems. The avocado toast itself was warm and delicious as always, and for $5 it’s still one of my go-to items.
However, this location consistently struggles with long wait times and lack of communication. Management should consider closing the drive-thru temporarily when things are not running properly, rather than creating a frustrating experience for customers.
Overall, the food was good, but the service and communication need serious improvement.
I went to this Dunkin and paid for a medium drink, clearly asking for no foam. What I got was a cup full of foam. That alone was bad enough, but the real problem was the way the staff handled it.
When I politely asked the employee to fix it, she acted like I was asking for something unreasonable. She took the cup, removed the foam, and handed it back half empty. So now I had paid for a medium and was being given something closer to a small. That is not a correction. That is just a lazy way of covering up a bad order.
I pointed this out and asked for it to be properly fixed. She refused. At that point, I no longer wanted the drink and asked for my money back. She refused that too, saying the manager or owner was not there. That is not the customer’s problem. If you take someone’s money and do not give them what they paid for, you refund them.
What should have taken one minute turned into a ridiculous 15-minute phone call because the employee apparently did not even know how to process a refund and had to be coached through it by the manager. In the end, I did get my money back, but only after wasting my time over something that should never have become an argument.
The worst part was the attitude. Instead of fixing a simple mistake, they acted like basic customer service was some kind of burden. There are plenty of places nearby that know how to treat paying customers properly. I left and went to Starbucks in the same shopping area. I should have gone there first. Paid more, but it was worth it 1000 times over.
I will never return to this or other Dunkin - apparently they do not train their customer service staff.

This is unfortunately the closest location with a drive thru so I continue to patronize it.
The staff are AWFUL. They are rude and seem inconvenienced by customers. They allow long artificial nails that have charms and jewels on them, which is a health hazard in itself. They are always “sold out” of multiple menu items, or don’t feel like replenishing them. This location needs to be shut down and reopened with a fresh team who cares about their paying customers.
