- WFW FAug 23, 20265.0I recently had the pleasure to try this wonderful place with my father who is a true Southern gentleman from North Carolina and my wife who also enjoys Great Southern cuisine. We did not know what to expect but we were looking for fried fish as well as the normal things like macaroni and cheese, collard greens, hush puppies or cornbread and we got all of that and more. The owner just happened to be there and he sat down and talked to us and he was fantastic. Everything was seasoned well cooked appropriately and the prices were reasonable. We will be back and we encourage everyone to please go visit this place or use one of the services to have the food delivered to your home. I would suggest going there because there's nothing like having fried fish as soon as it comes out of the fryer or some of the other things that they have there!

Great options, friendly staff, and everything we tried was delicious. The restaurant itself is pretty basic and feels better suited for takeout than a relaxing dine in meal. My only real complaint was the bottled drinks at $3.50 each and no soda fountain with no free refills, which adds up quickly when dining in. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back for the food!
