  I love the Great American chain. What's concerning is the fact of having to ask for silverware when ordering to go in the restaurant or online. The employees indicate they are taught and told not to just include it. The manager indicated it has to be requested due to high costs. One can pay $25 for a high quality salad and it's too much to include utensils in the service? That is underwhelming to receive my order and upon checking the bag realize there's nothing for me to eat with. Assuming people are going back to the office or have utensils is not high quality or complete service.

  Mike's American is one of my husband and I favorite date night places. We always come for the drunken ribeye. It is so DELICIOUS!!!! That entrée is a happy place for us both. The customer service is great. And, for the most part we make reservations coming here, because it's always packed with customers, on the weekends. If you enjoy great food, atmosphere and customer service...come here and enjoy!

  Mike’s American has a great atmosphere and is a solid spot to meet friends or grab a casual meal. The burgers were really good and the service was friendly. The main downside is the parking situation, which can be pretty limited and frustrating during busy times. The French fries were also much saltier than I prefer. Overall, still a good experience and definitely worth checking out.

  I’ve been to Mike’s American a handful of times now, and it’s always a great experience, especially on game nights. They have TVs all over the restaurant, which makes it a really fun spot to watch a game with friends or family. The service staff has always been very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is generally very good and consistent. My only real complaint is that I’ve gotten overly salted French fries on several different occasions, so hopefully that’s something they can improve. Other than that, it’s a great place to eat, hang out, and enjoy the atmosphere.

  Ordered a the prime rib, blackened and a side of rolls. It came with a Caesar salad. Rolls were a nice treat. Salad was decent; I'd eat it again, but nothing special there. The "Aged 5 Star® Reserve Prime Rib" was honestly a big disappointment. I ordered the 16 oz blackened, as sort of a reward for a big life milestone. I was hoping for it to be a very nice meal. First, it arrived not blackened. I don't like to do it but I sent it back. When it arrived a second time I found it to be really tough and chewy. Worse yet, in spite of the blackened exterior it was lacking in flavor. The service was nice, the atmosphere was nice, I'm just bummed I spent a special occasion and lot of money buying a dull flavored chew toy. Wouldn't recommend it.
