  Stocked shelves and clean. Quick checkout times. They have alfalfa sprouts. Haven't seen them in years. We're going to have good sammiches. Rib eyes $19.99/lb

  Today my daughter and my mother went to pick up a to go order at this food lion. We've done this regularly since covid. In the past six to eight months the quality of service at this store has steadily declined. Today I notified the store they were on the way 15 minutes before my pick up time. When they arrived at the to go lanes my mother went into the store to pick up something we had forgotten to order. My daughter tried to call the pickup number. NO ANSWER! She called my mom to ask her to tell someone she was in line before she left the store. When my mother got to the express checkout cashier which is right next to the customer service desk she politely asked the cashier if she would mind telling the csr at the desk that my daughter was in line and no one was answering the phone. The cashier looked at my mother with disgust and snapped "Do you see how busy this store is? Some people need to learn some respect" My mother was shocked at her response and asked what should we do? Again she said do you see how busy this store is. I would like to point out that we had already paid for the groceries on line and simply wanted to pick them up without being scolded. If this store is so busy it cannot honor its obligations then they.should stop offering the service. She finally turned around and spoke to the csr while staring at my mother and saying once again some people need to learn respect. Though I have used this grocery store faithfully for more than 20 years I will no longer go there. This is the second time in two weeks I have seen their idea of customer service and I DO NOT LIKE IT!! My mother took her items to the car and they sat there an additional 15 minutes before someone finally answered the phone. Our groceries finally arrived at the car 10 minutes later. One customer parked beside us went into the store and picked up her own groceries at the customer service desk and came out while they were still waiting. Again I say. If you cannot do the service please don't offer it or charge people for it!They spent almost an hour on what should have been a 15 minute stop!!!!

  This place is gross, it’s nice to have it close to home. But every week we drive to Fredericksburg to get groceries. The produce rots fast, the aisles are small and crowded, there’s no pharmacy and the last 2/3 times there’s been some crazy arguing between customers and staff. If you have to go here, go crazy early so at least you don’t have to deal with the ladder while you get your overpriced groceries.

  Big sale... especially the chicken..clean store.. people isn't too friendly no one spoke just look crazy..

  It's a hit n miss thing sometimes, there was a brand ice cream that's been on sale before 4th of July and after I have been checking several times not in stock. How come a food lion store 20 minutes away has a cake flavor of the month every month?? But it's not at the food lion 5 minutes from me??
