My girlfriend had come to this location today and had seen an elderly man who needed help badly. He was trying on his own first, but he needed help when he asked a cashier for help; they barely helped him, and wouldn't even take the time to find anyone to help. Mind you, today they had about 7 lines open, all empty. All the cashier says is, "I think it's down there, you should be able to find it by vitamins." The man was upset and almost in tears. She took the time out of her day to help this man and found it for him, and he was the happiest he could ever be and asked to hug her and tell her the world needs more people like her. Even when they both went to check out together, the cashier told him, as he's counting money, I have all the time in the world i am here until 11, and people should be in bed by then. She was very upset with this and hopes that maybe they will do better. She works in customer service and can't believe that not 1 but multiple people felt it was ok to act the way they did. Please talk to them.

I am very disappointed in this store, I went grocery shopping today, like I do every Friday, I am a regular customer there, and I had my emotion support dog with me today, well the manager told me I am not allowed to have her in there unless I was visually impaired, by law you can’t turn away especially if they have papers for that dog, people have dogs for more then just visually impaired, they have them for medical reasons, panic attacks, and anxiety, seizures, and so much more.

I had a reliable and budget-friendly experience at Food Lion because it truly lives up to its "Easy, fresh, and affordable" promise. With over 1,100 locations across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, it’s the kind of neighborhood grocery store where the layout is intuitive and the prices are consistently low without needing to hunt for deals. I especially enjoy their private label products and the "MVP" loyalty program, which makes saving at checkout feel completely automatic

This used to be my main store untill recently it in the last six months has deteriorated to just a stop if i have to .
The deli employees are the most uncaring employees in the store
They ignore you and if you happen to get one they act as if you have disrupted their day .
The grocery shelves are rarely stocked and the produce has become questionable to say the least .
Theres a cashier on the front that you have to listen to every personal health issue they have and are going through to their monetary troubles.
The interesting thing is i never see a manager on the floor or anywhere.
If you like to shop and be on your own to help yourself to what's left this is the place to go
