Can’t say enough about the food and service! We moved to Roanoke in the last year, have been here 3 times now, and have no need to even try other Indian restaurants in the area.

The food was perfect! I love Nawab. Please add achar to the Online Ordering menu so it can be purchased just like raita. 4 of us had to share a teeny little 2 T of it :(

This place was nice. The interior looked good. Our waiter wasn't super friendly or anything but other staff were good. The food was good, I do wish the Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was a little thicker though.

We drove all the way there based on the reviews. All we got was an empty resturant on a Sunday (should have been a red flag) and loads of disappointment. The food was below-par. The biriyani felt like overhyped rice with chunks of meat. The chef has no clue about how to make raita. We ordered chicken patia which was more like chicken mixed with ketchup, there was no taste of mango, tamarind and ginger. Upon complaint they substituted it with punjabi tikka masala which was sub-par aswell. Even the kingfisher beer that they served in a wine glass felt watery.

I have to say I adore Nawab. The food, the atmosphere. My most recent order was delivered and my goodness! What a treat! The food stayed fresh even though it survived delivery all the way to salem. We had the bread plate, garlic naan and a few other dishes. Their chicken was cooked to perfection. Their sauces are always so delicious and the samosas. Omg the somas....they come with a tamarind type of sauce idk if that was rhe main ingredient but wow was it the perfect pairing to the samosas. 10/10 love Nawab
