  I had a rough experience tonight. I tried to get two happy meals for my kids with white milk and there was a “milk upcharge” on the screen. I questioned it because the description said that the white milk was included. The lady running the drive through register told me it was an upcharge. I pointed out that the sign said it was included. She proceeded to say it was an upcharge and I told her I wasn’t paying for it. She then told me that I wasn’t getting the happy meals then. I then asked her to ask the manager and the manager came on the microphone and said the same thing. I pushed back about it and then they canceled the order and asked me to proceed to the window. I asked what was going on and they said they completed the order for me and I just need to drive around. I told them I could not see the order on the screen and they said that was okay and that the manager would hand me my receipt at the window. I proceed around, paid, got the food, and when I got home, I realized that they kept the upcharge on my order anyway. Even though it was wrong. I’ve tried to call both their store and the regional office with no response. Order your food from the app and potentially a different location; app doesn’t erroneously try to overcharge you. That’s my suggestion. Ridiculous. I can pay 80 cents, it’s just the principle of the situation and how I was treated that was awful. We are just moms out here trying to make it and not getting a fair shake sometimes.

  I've gone to this location 3 times. Each time there is something missing from the order, today my order was completely wrong and got less than half of the food I actually ordered and paid for. I wish this location was better as it's very convenient to where I live, but it just can't seem to get my order right.

  If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This is one of the most rudest, impolite McDonalds located in Roanoke. I went through Drive Thru this morning & ordered my food. The hash brown was missing from my order which I did not know until I pulled to the second window to get my food. The older lady that was working the window had the worse customer service. No good morning, no smile, just quickly gave me my bag, slammed the window and turned her back. I look in my bag and of course my hash brown was not in the bag. After waiting about 2 minutes for her to realize I was still sitting there, she flung the window open & when I asked about my hash brown she turned to the manager with an attitude and said “did that girl have a hash brown on her order”. The manager looked and said she didn’t see one so I asked her could she grab my receipt to be sure because I asked for one when I was ordering. The manager came back with the receipt and showed me where it was not rung up, I told her I certainly asked for one at the intercom however it was fine. The manager then replied “mmhmm” like it was an inconvenience for her then shut the window. Customer service was absolutely garbage and I would recommend placing people at the window that are happy to serve the public. For the people that want to sit with an attitude with their nose in the air; put them in the back & make them drop food where they don’t have to deal with the public. You chose to work McDonalds, if you can’t have good customer service, find a job that better suits you & your nasty attitude. I will not be returning to this McDonalds ever again & I hope their corporate office sees this!
