  We ordered a baker's dozen bagels online. This was a first time trying Donnie D's and we will definitely be back. They were delicious and tasted very much like New York bagels.

  Today was Mother's Day. I planned an event. I arrived at around 7:40 to pick up food. I walked in and 1 man followed me. I ordered 13 and 2 cream cheese. No one asked my name. I paid and I was handed a bag to go get my cream cheese. When I came back the girl who waited on me was talking to another coworker. I stood and waited. The girl handed me a bag that was sitting there rolled over. I left. About 2 hours later I went to se up and I was only given 9 bagels. I called back because I would not have enough. They acted like they could not figure out my order. They stated how busy they were yet no one was in there. Later I talked the manager, Rose. She pretty much told me it was my fault for not looking in the bag and to go right ahead and post my review. I will never go back. This place had nothing but young people working. No one cares that a special event was ruined because of some dumb teenager. In the future I see this as just another failed business in Roanoke and when people wonder why- it's not rocket science. When the owner allows trashy teenagers to run the business what can you expect. I've now read some of the other reviews and as a teacher in the area, I'll let others know what a disappointing business this is.

  Love the food here, but unfortunately the service needs improvement. The restaurant was not overly busy, yet we waited over an hour for our order. We were eventually told the order had been lost and had to be remade. What was most disappointing was the response from management — the apology felt cold and dismissive rather than genuinely concerned about the experience. The food itself was good, but I’d strongly recommend ordering online ahead of time to avoid a similar situation.

  Take out through the website is super easy, great communication and done right on time for pick up!! Amazing experience please my sandwich was so delicious!! Totally recommend!!

  Food was great when I ate here before, this time I ordered takeout and only got half the order. I called back and they were bringing it back. Thats great. My delivery driver however smelled like weed so bad my bag smelled like it the top of my containers did. I trashed my food. Smh.
