She did not greet me, smile, or provide any basic customer service. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had an issue with her—this is the second negative interaction I’ve had with the same employee. While checking out, I asked for a water cup. I didn’t realize she had already placed it in the bag, so I politely asked again. Her response was, “It’s in the bag if you would look,” which came across as rude and unprofessional. There was no reason to speak to a customer that way. Because of a previous interaction with this same cashier a few months ago, I have actually tried to avoid coming to this location. No customer should feel uncomfortable or disrespected when simply placing an order. If an employee does not enjoy working with customers, they should not take that frustration out on them. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds employees of the importance of treating customers with respect and professionalism.
