I understand that your restaurant provides utensils upon request and that the coconut milk is traditionally mixed with the sticky rice. My concern is more about the customer service experience. Since this was a takeout order, I feel the staff could have simply asked whether I needed utensils, napkins, or the sauce on the side, rather than assuming I would not need them. Not every customer takes their food home; some people may be eating at work, in a hotel, or somewhere else. I was also surprised because, in my previous takeout experiences at other restaurants, utensils were usually included and sauces were often served on the side. Even when I previously ordered the mango sticky rice from your restaurant through DoorDash, the coconut milk was served separately. I think a simple question from the staff would have made the experience much better. My disappointment was not only about the food preparation, but also about the indifferent attitude I experienced. Sept 30, 2026 I placed a takeout order today, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Before going to the restaurant, I tried calling multiple times to place my order, but no one answered, so I had to go there in person. The guy who helped me seemed quite indifferent, and there were no utensils or napkins included with my order. What bothered me most was the mango sticky rice. The sauce was poured all over the sticky rice instead of being served on the side. I’ve ordered mango sticky rice from many different places before, and the sauce is usually served separately. Even when I previously ordered this same dessert from this restaurant by DoorDash, the sauce came on the side. I personally don’t like desserts that are overly sweet, so having the sauce separately allows me to control how much I use. I was disappointed by the lack of consistency and the overall service experience. I hope the restaurant can pay more attention to both customer service and takeout packaging in the future.
