It’s definitely a little pricey, but the food is so so good!! My favorite was the potato pie appetizer, but we also had the curry and the purple ben sen (the vegan versions) which were both delicious. The entrees are generally big enough to share, especially if you also get an appetizer. My friends also liked the ribs.

✨ Richmond Dining Gem: Sen Organic Small Plate 🍜🌱
If you love fresh, beautiful, and completely organic food, you absolutely have to check out Sen! I visited during a trip from Florida for a memorial service and fell in love with the gorgeous lighting and cozy ambiance as soon as I walked through the door.
As a vegan, I was incredibly impressed by their extensive, clearly marked plant-based options. The menu is so vast it actually took me quite a while to choose!
🍽️ The Food (Fresh, Organic & Artfully Prepared)
Everything was stunningly presented and tasted incredibly vibrant. Here is what I ordered:
* Fresh Spring Rolls: Hand-rolled in fresh brown rice paper with herbs, bean sprouts, and brown rice noodles. I chose the grilled oyster mushrooms as my protein, and they were phenomenal.
* Mushroom & Tofu Stew: A comforting dish of braised organic young tofu in a rich vegetable broth with oyster, white beech, brown beech, and enoki mushrooms, cooked in a garlic-ginger sauce and topped with chives and microgreens. Instead of the standard 12-grain rice or bread, I asked for brown pho noodles (a highly recommended $3 upcharge!).
* Dark Chocolate Cashew Tart: Their dessert menu is a vegan paradise—every single option is plant-based except one! This tart features a sweet potato pie crust and a homemade chocolate filling with cashews and hazelnuts. Because I personally avoid coconut due to the high saturated fat content, they kindly accommodated my request to put the coconut cream and strawberry jam on the side.
💡 Pro-Tips for Your Visit
* Seating Cutoff: While the restaurant stays open until 9:00 PM, they stop seating guests strictly at 8:15 PM. Make sure you get there before then!
* Parking: They have a very small lot to the left of the building with only 4 spaces, so you may need to look for street parking. Do not park in the lot to the right, as that is reserved exclusively for the neighboring Indian restaurant.
* The Service: My waiter was brand new and had to check with the chef a few times to answer my detailed ingredient questions, but he was incredibly sweet, patient, and eager to help.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. I am sharing plenty of pictures below so you can see how gorgeous these plates look—enjoy! 📸

6/28 I ordered through their website the master stone pot which was real good. I also ordered two tart desserts which they forgot to put in my bag. I called for a refund and the nice lady said she sent it, that it would take a couple of business days... cool! Only problem, I was never refunded anything
Edit: Correction: Id ordered thru your Website Not Uber
One of the best restaurants i’ve been to in a very long time. Lived in Vietnam for a year and this place was hands down better than any Vietnamese food I ever had! Everyone was extremely friendly, the ambiance was relaxing and vibrant, food had my tastebuds dancing. I’d drive the 2.5 hours again just to come back here!

A hidden gem and a must try. We were so happy with everything that we ordered. Very cozy, laid back patio with so much greenery. They even had actual lotus grown in their madeup pond. Thr hostess was so sweet and welcoming. Our server Charles was great with his recommendations as well as taking in our preferences. We ordered a Mango Passion Fruit Drink, it was very refreshing, balanced flavors, not too sweet. Delicious! For food we ordered Bun Cha Gio. It was a noodle bowl with tofu and veggies. We were impressed for a noodle dish how wonderful it was. It has brown noodles, fried tofu, lots of great/fresh veggies, herbs, crispy rolls and a spicy sauce. Charles got us extra sauce too. Because we asked for more spicy. We also ordered Royal Fried Rice. It was so good that it was finiahed in no time. Portion is smaller than fried rice at other places in general. We got Golden Potato Pie too. Which was our least favorite but not bad.
Even their silver were nice, so were the napkins.
Great exeprience! Not very cheap.
