  Ordered the Vegan pho and the open face french slice...very delicious indeed!!! I recommend this restaurant above the other Vietnamese restaurants.

  I’ve always had great experiences at Sen. Grandma’s Curry (vegan) is my go to, and the fresh brown spring rolls are amazing. Very unique and flavorful.

  Pretty place but food was mediocre and service was even worse. I am Vietnamese and from California, none of the food was authentic. I ordered a cocktail and it was absolutely disgusting, it was so (weirdly) thick and tasted like cough syrup. I asked if I could swap it for something else and they told me they wouldn’t take it off the bill. Absurd?? I’ve never encountered that once before. We got a few things and tab totaled over $100, don’t go — especially if u want authentic Vietnamese food. Lol.

  I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars primarily because of the pricing. As a vegan, I had heard great things from the community about their vegan pho and was excited to try it. Having recently moved from Honolulu, where I experienced some of the best authentic vegan pho, I had high expectations. The vegan pho here is definitely delicious, but the price is extremely high. At $30 per bowl, it feels unjustifiable, especially for a restaurant that isn’t considered upscale/Michelin star. There are also no smaller or kid-sized portions available, so even children must order a full-priced bowl, which adds up quickly. I believe they could benefit from offering smaller portions—perhaps reducing the size slightly—and pricing it closer to $20. That would likely attract more regular customers. Unfortunately, due to the cost, my family and I won’t be returning.

  One of Richmond's hidden secrets. Multiple visits and each time we try something new. Always an outstanding date night. This time we ordered the open face French slice with mushrooms, cauliflower bite, sai gon soup, bot chien, and fresh brown spring rolls and a couple cocktails. Dance-in-your-seat type experience. Flavors and textures are delicious and memorable. Ordered too much, so leftovers for tomorrow. The chef works magic and the service is perfectly unobtrusive. See you again soon!
