This was our first time here and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My friend had the happy hour appetizers (crispy rolls and chicken satay—she enjoyed the former more). Then she devoured the chicken Pad Tai and Thai iced tea. They were out of the mango sticky rice, so that was a bummer for her. As for me, I had the Thai Fire drink, larb, chicken curry puffs, and the cheesecake with mango sauce. Everything was delicious. I give 4 stars due to them being out of mango sticky rice and out of mezcal, but it’s okay! Pammy was our waitress and she wasn’t wonderful. I definitely recommend this place.
This place has an amazing and cozy atmosphere and some fantastic staff! Palmmy was fantastic and very pleasant. Stayed in Richmond for two weeks for work and ended up coming here 3 times and loved it each time! Can’t go wrong here.
I went to Kin D last night and have genuinely not stopped talking about it since. I think I’ve already told five different friends about it in the span of one day. I’m usually never too impressed with restaurant food because I always think I could make it at home, but Kin D is one of the few exceptions!
My friend and I ordered the Thai tea and pandan drink, which were sooo refreshing. We also got the gyoza, which was super flavorful with a strong ginger taste. I ordered the Kua-Kling (I believe I spelled that right) and it was 100/10. I LOVE spicy food and the heat was perfect! My friend got the chicken garlic stir-fry and it was delicious. We ended with the mango cheesecake topped with cashews, which was amazing.
I also loved the restaurant itself! It’s so beautifully decorated and I really loved the layout and overall atmosphere. Our waiter, Tokyo, was also super attentive, patient, and kind. He gave us great recommendations and made sure we were comfortable with the spice levels.
This is officially my new favorite restaurant in the Richmond area! I’ve already recommended it to so many people and can’t wait to go back.
Thank you, Kin D! ❤️
Jazzie and Tokyo were the ones who took care of us. They remember your name from reservation list and greet you with complete kindness. We got the crab rangoons, steak kao son(not sure how to spell it), a creamy coconut chicken curry, and their Thai teas. All of it was spectacular. I’ve already recommended it to plenty of friends and family. The ambiance, the service, the food, location was beyond perfect and I’d 100% go back.
We loved our experience at Kin-D Thai kitchen. We did get a reservation for Friday evening dinner and were seated quickly. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious we ordered the Massaman curry, Egg Blanket Pad Thai with crunchy chicken and Basil Minced Chicken and all the dishes were phenomenal. Our waitress, Pammy, was very helpful with her suggestions and provided great customer service. We will definitely be back!
