I really enjoyed my experience here! The restaurant was very clean and well kept, and the staff was super friendly. The manager was especially kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can really tell she cares about the customers and the restaurant. Great service, clean place, and a really nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I'm afraid this restaurant has really degraded in quality. This used to be my go-to lunch salad place, but in recent months the quality of the orders has become hit-or-miss - tiny portions and missing dressings being the most common issues, but I usually just let it go.
Today was the last straw - I ordered a salad for myself and my husband. His was in the bag but had almost no greens, so the bowl was barely a quarter full and consequently swimming in dressing. My salad was just straight up missing. I tried calling the restaurant twice and never got an answer. I had ordered directly from the CAVA app, but there is no option to contact customer service at all through it. Fortunately, I had signed up for delivery text messages and had a link to the delivery service. They had a number I could call - the rep told me she "could not initiate a customer order," (trying to use logic and saying that I didn't want her to initiate a new order, I just wanted the one I had already initiated fulfilled did not work), and the best she could do was refund me half the cost of the order (minus tip and fees of course) and it would take 10-14 *business* days for me to get my money back, (so they can take my money in an instant but giving it back takes weeks, that makes total sense, sure).
So I gave CAVA my money, they're going to hold on to it for weeks, then only give me some of it back, all for... literally nothing. And I'm not interested in the "it's all the delivery apps' fault" excuse, because it wasn't the delivery app that put half a single salad in the bag when I ordered two - that was all CAVA.

Worst Pita and hummus I've ever eaten.
So overcooked and burnt that the pita was crunchier than tortilla chips. Black and stained in old oil.
Pita sandwhich was messy and soaking through the double wrappers with grease everywhere.
Ill go anywhere other than this place again.
Cava is a fast-casual Mediterranean powerhouse that consistently delivers fresh, vibrant, and highly customizable meals. Whether you opt for a balanced grain bowl, a crisp salad, or a warm pita wrap, the assembly-line ordering process allows you to tailor your dish precisely to your taste.
The menu shines through its bold flavor profiles and high-quality ingredients. Proteins like the seasoned braised lamb, harissa honey chicken, and savory falafel serve as robust foundations. Where Cava truly stands out, however, is its lineup of handcrafted dips and spreads—particularly the creamy crazy feta, tangy tzatziki, and spicy red pepper hummus. Topped with pickled onions, crunchy cucumbers, and drizzled with garlic dressing, every combination yields a rich mix of textures and tastes.
While peak meal hours can lead to longer lines, the efficient service usually keeps things moving quickly. Portions are generous, making the price point feel fair for a nutritious, filling meal that doesn't sacrifice flavor.
Overall, Cava offers a convenient, high-energy dining experience for anyone seeking a fresh and flavorful alternative to standard fast food. It is a reliable go-to for a quick lunch or an effortless weeknight dinner.

**1 Star**
I genuinely love CAVA, but unfortunately the Reston location continues to disappoint me.
This wasn't just a one-time experience. On multiple visits, the portion sizes for the rice, protein, and toppings have been noticeably smaller than what I consistently receive at the Sterling and Tysons locations. When I politely ask for a regular portion comparable to those locations, I'm made to feel as though I'm asking for something unreasonable or trying to get extra food for free.
During my most recent visit, the manager, Anna, was serving both me and the person I was with. I have experienced the same behavior from her before. Her customer service was dismissive and unwelcoming, and when I brought my concerns to her attention, she acted as though she had no idea what I was referring to instead of addressing the issue.
Customers should feel comfortable asking questions about portion sizes. If requesting additional protein or toppings results in an extra charge, simply communicate that. Most customers are happy to decide whether they want to pay the additional cost. What isn't acceptable is making customers feel uncomfortable for asking about portions or treating them as though they're trying to get something they don't deserve.
It's disappointing because I truly enjoy CAVA's food, but the inconsistent portions and poor customer service at this location have made me reluctant to return. I would recommend visiting the Sterling or Tysons locations instead, where the portions and customer service have consistently been much better.
