    Terrible attitudes from staff and management!! You all short change customers on ingredients and flavor then get angry when asked to make it over. You would save more money and waste less product if you make it correctly the first time. Smoothies always taste like water until the second attempt. Do better!! Because you're right around the corner from the gym and I honestly like your food items. You just have to do better and stop short changing people on your smoothies.

    If i could give no stars i would. Customer service was terrible. The cashiers didn’t greet me after i greeted them first. Simply just asked what can i get you?! I was brushed off once i made it known i was there to place an order and not pick up. Once i got my order it was WRONG. It was chocolate in the peanut paradise. The employee then gave attitude as they offered to remake my smoothie…I don’t understand why people go apply at customer service jobs but act as if they HATE CUSTOMERS AND ARE ANNOYED BY OUR PRESENCE! Typical Portsmouth customer service in my opinion. I hardly ever have a pleasant experience anywhere in this city! Smh.

    This is not to be racist because I’m also a Middle Eastern descent. This is just to identify but that Middle Eastern man who works the cash register and acts like a manager, but apparently isn’t has to go. He’s setting a terrible culture for your store. I was in there with at least eight other customers and half of them were complaining about terrible customer service this location regularly has and I will admit that I didn’t receive great customer service from everybody but as somebody with a degree in social science and I’m Food service certified, I’m telling you that your problem is that Middle Eastern man he was terrible to me, apparently others, and he’s setting a terrible culture for your entire store and I can tell that your ingredients are either not properly ordered or out of date and I bet you he’s the one ordering them too. He has to go. Your store will not survive him. This was my first visit to this tropical smoothie and I won’t be back unless it’s the only one close and I have no gas in my car for at least six months because six months from now hopefully that guy will be gone. Thank you to the Girl who had braids today and was working in the back making my bowl for helping me and making me a nice bowl. The girl who was making smoothies was quiet and just working. But that man? What a diva. Also. I read their other reviews saying other tropical smoothies are like this. No they’re not! Next time you’re in VB try the one by Lynnhaven Mall and you’ll see what it’s supposed to be like at a tropical smoothie

    Food is good, but I ordered take out and they messed up the order. I didnt realize till I got home then tried calling and calling no answer. So I drove back up there calling the entire 10min trip to let them know what needed fixing because they are always quick to fix an oops. I get there, still calling and as I walk in I here the phone ringing really loud, so I keep calling whole time I'm in line and the phone just sits on the counter ringing the entire time. When its finally my turn at the counter she said how can I help you? I said you hear that noise? That's me been calling for over 15 min and no one here has bothered to answer the phone, why do you have a phone? They remade my order and it delicious as usual (veggie hummus wrap) but the 3 stars is because I should have been able to call and pick up my corrected order instead of having to wait in another line just to sit and wait another 10min to take my lunch home and eat it after everyone else is already done and doing other stuff. My families lunch was 52.00 btw, should be much better customer service for the cost.

    I will NEVER, EVER, EVER patronize this store again!!! My coworkers and I normally place several orders here and pick them up with no problem. So yesterday, I ordered mine through the app while they placed an order by phone. This has been done several times in the past with no problem so it shouldn't have been an issue this time. Boy was I completely wrong. They come back and I have no smoothie and no food. No big deal to me because I would have run back out to get it. This is where things went downhill fast. My coworker tells me that he asked for my food first. I guess the manager or whoever grabs the receipt to place it by the register... PAUSE.... so I know this is a true practice of when someone goes in to pick up an online order so I believe him when he said they never gave him my order. Okay anywho... they looked at the receipt and went to go get the orders. Well my order never made it. I called the store and talked to the manager, Patel. He immediately starts repeating that it was their fault and they never asked for it and yada yada yada. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I simply asked for a refund because it was past lunch time and I wasn't going by there later. So he blabbed on and on about how he couldn't do a refund and all this other jazz. After back and forth he finally consented on giving me my money back on food I never got and didn't even want at this point because of his nastiness. So I called this morning to request a refund and this Patel guy gets downright nasty and tells me he is being nice on giving me my money back and has the unmitigated gall to tell me that it was my fault and next time I won't be getting a refund. LOL. He must not understand that I am the customer and I damn sure will never be going back to this store. NEVER GO HERE!!!!!
