  I placed an online order on 9/19/2026 for pickup at the Pizza Hut located at 3200 South Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805. When I arrived, there was already a group of very upset customers standing in the lobby, many saying they had been waiting a significant amount of time for their food. One customer stated that he had already been waiting for an hour. I stood there for approximately 40 minutes without being acknowledged. Eventually, the shift manager addressed everyone in the lobby and explained that they were having “technical issues.” We were told that their computer system had frozen and they were unable to see many of the orders, except for orders that were printing out. As a result, numerous customers’ orders had apparently been lost. We were told there was nothing they could do and that we would need to contact Pizza Hut ourselves to request refunds because the restaurant could not issue them. I immediately contacted Pizza Hut customer service through the online chat and explained what had happened. I was assured that my refund would be processed within 1–3 business days. That was on 9/19/2026. I never received the refund. I contacted Pizza Hut again on the evening of 9/23/2026 and explained the situation again. I was once again told that I would receive my refund within 1–3 days. Still nothing. I contacted them for a third time on the evening of 9/25/2026 and was told that someone would contact me within 1–3 days. At this point, it has been one week since I paid Pizza Hut for an order that I NEVER received. I have contacted customer service three separate times, have been repeatedly promised a refund, and still have not received my money or any meaningful resolution. At this point, it honestly feels like I am being given the runaround over money that I am owed. Unfortunately, the condition and handling of the food at this location was also extremely concerning. While I was there, I witnessed food being dropped on the floor, pizzas being burned to the point of being completely charred black, pizza boxes being picked up from the floor and still being used, and employees touching the ground with gloves and utensils. These are not things I would expect to see at a restaurant serving food to the public. I do want to acknowledge that the manager appeared to be trying his best to deal with an extremely chaotic situation. However, the female employee working at the time spent much of the situation complaining about the customers and complaining that people were continuing to place orders, rather than helping resolve the problems. Between losing customers’ orders, failing to provide the food people paid for, making customers wait for extended periods without communication, and then failing to issue refunds after multiple contacts with customer service, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Pizza Hut has now had my money for a week without providing the order I paid for, and I am still having to chase them down for a refund. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from this location or any other Pizza Hut again.

  That's a nope. Call center is nice but no local communication. Never got my pizza and got a weird charge on my card...🥰USAA🤣🤣someone is doing something bad.

  Absolutely great pizza. Order from there every wensday and has been great every wensday. And they actually read the special requests which most dont so the fact that they read it is awesome.

  I ordered a cheese pizza. When it arrived it looked horrible. It hardly had any sauce or cheese plus it was burnt. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

  I placed my order online with the Crater Rd Pizza Hut..I got notification that my order was ready.. I got to the restaurant about 15 minutes later and my food was not ready despite the notification. I spoke to the Manager and she told me that I had to wait for them to put my bread sticks through the oven.. I advised that was not acceptable because my notification stated that the food was ready a while ago so I asked if I wait, how can you accommodate me and she said we can’t but your total is… I advised that if you can not accommodate me and my food is not ready then cancel that order. I then asked for corporate number.. she said that she can’t give it to me and I need to find it myself, so I asked for the store identification number and she refused to give it to me.. So, Pizza Hut will rather lose a good customer than to make a situation right… Make that make sense.. So screw you and I can take my funds somewhere else… if this get to corporate please take a look at my order history & not from the account but pull it up by my name or phone numbers and then you will understand the impact of losing me as a customer.
