- ABANNETTE BARRSep 24, 20262.0I have gone to Foodlion stores all over Virginia. The one in Petersburg my home town is the most disappointing store! Not because their store is nasty. It's not. But you never have enough cashiers to check out people! NO OTHER FOODLION, has ever been as inadequately staffed all the time! Yes right now you are remodeling but why, if you never have more than 2 cashiers? Had I driven to Dinwiddie they would have had atleast 4 and their store is half the size! If I go to Colonial Heights I would find the same! What manager thinks that is exceptable? Obviously the manager of the Petersburg location! Sadly it is the only grocery store in the city other than walmart. FYI store manager your store would make more money if people could check out in a timely manner. Waiting most of the time in a line as long as10 carts at your 1 or 2 open registers is getting very old!

- STShatoria TaylorAug 19, 20261.0⭐ Food Lion Review — Very Disappointed I am extremely disappointed with this Food Lion. On two separate occasions, I purchased pork chops from this location that were spoiled. After returning the first pack, I purchased another pack, only to get home and discover that those were spoiled as well. This is completely unacceptable, especially when it comes to meat and food safety. After having the same experience twice, I no longer feel comfortable purchasing meat—or groceries in general—from this location. Unfortunately, I will no longer be shopping at this Food Lion. I’ll be taking my business to Publix, where I have had a much better experience with the freshness and quality of their products. Food Lion really needs to address the quality and freshness of the meat being sold at this location.
