  My elderly mother and I were using self checkout. We were told by a very nice Spanish employee that we couldn't do a split payment there. So she did the normal reciept/transaction printout and sent us to register number 1. Once we got to register one a gentleman and his kid were waiting for an associate who they had no idea where they went (which he said to me once I was in line behind him). So finally an African American girl will long (orange or red braids) perceived to approach the register (continuing to carry on a conversation with another associate) and rang him up. She at no point acknowledge my elderly mother on the disabled use store cart nor myself. When she finally turned around she just looked at the reciept..scanned it..then turned her back to us and continued talking to the previous person!! Then I told her how much for the 1st payment ...she entered it in. .I swiped the card..and it left of balance of $11 and changed. I preceded to swipe the second payment card and then it said I owed $33 now and changed. I asked her "excuse me mam but is there something that you did where the balance owed changed"...she completely ignoring what I said followed my question with "u cant swiped the benefits card before the ebt". I said yes I understand that...but why has the balance owed increased? Then she just stated the sane thing again....I kindly told her" mam i understand about the first statement u made..but that shouldn't INCREASE the balance owed. She then sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes..at that point I asked for a manager. She rolled her eyes then went over to my mother and started explaining to an elderly person who has,dementia and doesnt understand the process..I quickly stopped her and said "excuse,me mam I asked you to please have a manager come to the front". She rolled her eyes again and started to yell and get loud...which then I the customer got loud because shes still perceiving to talk to my mom and not doing what I asked which was to get a manager..because while all this is happening I realized she had voided the entire transaction once she figured out she messed something up while her back was turned talking to the other associate just as she had done with the previous customer!!! The manager finally came up to the front and she gave him some BS story about why he was call to cover her mistake further...the manager ended up having to ring EVERYTHING UP AGAIN costing us to have to pay for an additional elderly Uber ride!!! Im now noticing that her employee name isnt listed on the reciept.   Ran in to get some deli meat. They always have deli specials. Easy in and out especially with self checkout. So convenient. Good layout in store, items easy to locate. Helpful staff.
