- AMallie MoeSep 14, 20261.0I visited Chipotle tonight and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. First, there was a line of approximately 15 customers, while the manager was seated at a table near the front eating. I found this concerning, especially given the number of customers waiting to be served. I ordered a salad and had a coupon on the Chipotle app for free protein. I showed the cashier the coupon on my phone, but he proceeded to charge my card and then informed me that the register would not allow him to apply the coupon. When I asked to speak with a manager, I felt that my concerns were not properly addressed, and the manager did not appear to understand what I was explaining. The salad ultimately cost me more than 50% over what I had originally planned to spend, and the only response I received was an apology. Unfortunately, an apology does not resolve the issue when the customer has presented a valid promotion and the business is unable or unwilling to honor it. This was not a good customer-service experience or a good example of how a business should handle a situation involving a promotional offer. Moving forward, I will be very hesitant to use an app coupon at this location again, and unfortunately, I will not be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both customer service and the handling of promotional offers.

The tables were dirty, the floor looked neglected, and the food preparation area had a lot of trash and clutter. Hygiene is very important to me, especially in a place where food is being handled. Even though the food itself wasn’t bad, seeing those conditions in the preparation area made me feel uncomfortable and made me not want to return. I hope management pays more attention to the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
