  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a long wedding vacation filled with mostly buffet food, my wife and I were desperate for something unique, flavorful, and completely different. Vang Go Bistro absolutely delivered. From the moment we started looking at the menu, we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. The crazy delicious boutique hot dogs, their creative spin on ramen and Thai dishes, and those chicken chili dumplings had our number. Everything felt inventive without being gimmicky, and we kept talking about the food even the next day. We’re from out of town, and honestly, our biggest complaint is that we don’t have a restaurant like this back home. If a place with this menu opened up in our area, we might never leave. 😂 The service was phenomenal, the food was incredibly unique, and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted—a casual, comfortable place where you can grab a drink, enjoy a great dinner, and have a genuinely memorable meal without feeling like you’re going to break the bank. There are plenty of restaurants you enjoy while you’re on vacation, but every once in a while you find one that makes you think, “I wish this was in my hometown.” Vang Go Bistro was absolutely one of those places. Fantastic food, great drinks, wonderful service, and a menu that we’re still talking about. Five stars without hesitation!

  We came for the first time tonight and definitely had our expectations exceeded! The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, and the menu isn't overwhelming like a lot of places. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive which is hard to come by in Norfolk these days. Especially in places like Canvas in the downtown area, where service and skill are lackluster and everyone has a terrible attitude. The portions here are generous, and absolutely everything is delicious! Come check out Vang Go y'all!

  Felt like an elevated street food meets relaxed large portioned tapas. Delicious asian fusion! Friendly, professional service from people who genuinely seemed to care about the food, which was served quickly. If pressed for a critic the spicy dishes felt mild even for my mild spice taste, still delicious!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Van Go Bistro is genuinely one of those places where every single bite makes you stop and appreciate what you’re eating. The food is THAT good. Everything feels intentional, beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and honestly like a Michelin-star-level dining experience without the pretentious atmosphere. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I would spend the last little bit of money from my paycheck just to come here and enjoy another meal. 😂 That’s how serious I am about this food. Katie and Marlena both contributed so much to making the experience amazing. They were warm, attentive, personable, and made us feel genuinely taken care of from start to finish. Their service matched the quality of the food perfectly and made the entire visit feel special. And Mark in the kitchen absolutely deserves his flowers. You can tell he cooks with care. The food doesn’t feel rushed or thrown together. Every plate tastes like someone actually cared about how it came out, how it was seasoned, and how the entire dish worked together. That kind of care really shows. The quality, presentation, atmosphere, service, and overall experience are stellar. This isn’t just somewhere you go because you’re hungry. It’s somewhere you go because you want to EXPERIENCE your food. Van Go Bistro has officially become one of those restaurants I’ll gladly recommend to anybody who asks me where they should eat. If you haven’t been yet, GO. 10/10. No notes. I’ll absolutely be back.

  Cute little restaurant with friendly service. Food was fresh and served when hot. The chicken sandwich was delish but the spicy peanut noodle dish wasn’t spicy, not much flavor, and didn’t have enough meat for the amount of noodles. Presentation was good and other meals looked tasty
