  I haven't had Papa Johns for a few years but I remember the pizza used to be good. I received a mailer with coupons, and bought a large pizza at menu price and got a large 1 topping for free. The pizzas get 1 star! Neither had enough sauce nor tasted good. I don't know of they skimped because it was a coupon or if this is how they make all of their pizzas now. Either way, I won't be ordering again. (Tip for any business who's trying to gain customers with coupons. Give your best product! Technically, you should always be serving your BEST....that's how you keep and gain customers.) I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was nice and the place was clean. These were the worst pizzas I've had in a long time.

  The guy who helped us tonight was very sweet and helpful in making a replacement order. I hope he gets 12,000 raises in a row and then 37 more after that.

  I ordered pizza 🍕 earlier today 05/06/26 around 4:35 pm after work because I was starving and I got home with my pizza 🍕 and it was dry, not enough sauce on it 🤦‍♀️ but I had no choice but to eat it because I live in downtown Newport News and the store is a little ways uptown 🤷‍♀️

  Food was hot and ready when I walked in. I was also greeted and helped as soon as I came through the door.
