I’ve got to give a Shout Out to the Assistant Manager!!! Today I walked out of the house with no wallet. A never done before for me. Realizing that as I was about to check out I found the first person I saw and he was it. Told him what I had done and asked if they could put it in the back until I went home and got it and returned. He wasn’t having it. Took me to the Register and paid for it himself! I’ve seen him many times before and he’s always been very polite and friendly. Thank You Sir!!! So anyone who shops here; know that they have one of the best Grocery Stores around. It’s not just the Store; but the People who work there that make it!!!

Food Lion Warwick Blvd Newport News It’s the day of the party, 8/15/2026, my son SJs 3rd birthday, and I went to pick up my cake. Not only did it look amazing but I can tell they put time and care into it. Stacey is who did the cake and she was extremely pleasant. Aunt seemed like she was proud of her work and happy to serve a guest in the store. I also seen Miss Charlene there and she was just as pleasant as my previous review I left for her. Please recognize these employees as this definitely is going to have me extend word-of-mouth to any of my colleagues and friends who are looking to get cakes with great service. Sometimes people will hang up the phone just if somebody sounds nasty or under professional. These ladies were tremendous and they helped make my son’s birthday special. Thank you again, Miss Charlene and Stacey.

I’ve been coming to this food lion for years and never had an issue until today. They accused me of having a “fake” $20 bill which ended up actually being real. Get a counterfeit machine instead of relying on a dried up pen!

One of the worst Food Lion's I've ever been in. Dirty, crew unfriendly, terrible meat selection. Even low supply of everyday staples.
