  All of the staff is nice, but Omar has a friendly face for everyone! I watched him handle a challenging customer with grace and patience. I would not have been able to keep my composure the way he did!

  PLEASE GET NEW CARTS! Everything else is fine here but oh my goodness the carts are the worst/loudest/most broken carts ive ever dealt with.

  Miss Charlene took my call for my son’s cake. I have another review. I made a couple of minutes ago that goes in conjunction with this. Please see my review for the Jefferson Newport News store. I was told that they were unable to make a cake for my son because they did not have the Manning For Saturday. Miss Charlene took the call was very polite. Check the availability and she walked me through every step politely and friendly. She didn’t sound like she was going out of her way. She didn’t sound like that. She was being bothered. She sound like she wanted to help a guest with their order. When I got down to the specifics, she even started giving me suggestions instead of just red or blue she decided we would go with Spider-Man colors since it’s a Spider-Man theme. Customer service is so rare nowadays with computers are replacing our employees but the ones we still have to make that great customer experience possible we should definitely salute these people. I also recommend that her service Is notated by management because she made that experience very easy and I now want to recommend anybody to order from this Food Lion and I will continue to do so myself. Excellent job Miss Charlene thank you. This call was about around 10 AM on August 14, 2026.

  I honestly think I should really go over the top of the managers of the store and report it to food Lion executives. This store hands down has the worst employees by far than any other store I've ever gone to. It's the exact score to just watch the cameras they would be able to see who's the good employees and who's the bad. It isn't hard to do define the most rudest employees on Earth some of them are managers the Big Hawaiian girl. The big African-American fellow who used to have long hair that's another one. A couple of the cashiers also. There's one really nice manager there an African American woman I wished I would have got her name but I've been in there five times total. And it bothered me so much that I needed to present this to whoever's in charge because there's some lousy employees there there's a big fellow who's a supervisor or manager white guy I believe his name is Robbie he's real good real nice. But some of these other people and I wish I could think of one of the cashiers cuz she rolled her eyes at me and I mean . I'm a very polite lady I always treat everybody with respect and I realize some people can be in a a bad mood but anybody I've mentioned. I've just sat back there and watched and how they react to their customers. To the point I think they should be fired if I was a supervisor and I saw any of this I would flat out fire them and some of them are supervisors. If anybody really cares about what I'm saying all you got to do is sit back and observe how they walk around like they're just pissed off all the time. I honestly would never want to jeopardize somebody's job. But if you can't come to work and present good customer service maybe you should be digging a ditch or back in the fast food restaurant in the back where nobody can see you and cook fries or something I may come back I think I'm going to go back in there I got to get a couple of other names. I may get a couple of other names but all anybody has to do is watch the cameras watch how they interact with other people. Seems like the cashier I'm talking about it's like a three letter name and all you got to do is watch her. There's a real sweet light skin African American girl who is real sweet. But five out of five times but I've been in there the people I mentioned are just constantly rude. You can go and watch the cameras you don't even have to hear him say something and watch how they're moods are we can see it in their eyes . As a African-American woman a demand respect when I walk in to a store and spend my hard-earned money and have to deal with some rude customer service people who make you feel uncomfortable

  Last week I purchased groceries the cashier gave me $3 change instead of $16.Its the oldest trick in the book.If the customer not paying attention Rob her.I picked up Chicken 72pcs.It was not hot and very dry.Went in today to get groceries and the cashier over charged for eggs.I rec'd a 30 pk. charged for 2.I no longer feel comfortable shopping at your store.
