    Will their prices have changed drastically like about $10 or more extra for whatever you order even drinks. Given this is the one in the Tysons Corner area in the mall so I expected to be a little pricey but it's changed since the last time I've been there the service took long. It was a little packed but not that bad. The food was good when it came out. Don't order the lemonade it tastes like they use the lemon out of a squeeze bottle it's nasty

    I'm really frustrated! It seems like the trend of shrinking portions has made its way to Coastal Flats. As a regular customer who patronizes all their restaurants, I was disappointed when my order arrived today. They were significantly smaller than usual. For $13, I expect consistency in size. Additionally, the presentation could have been much better.

    Disappointing Management Experience Regarding Family Needs I am writing this to bring a very uncomfortable incident to the attention of Coastal Flats leadership. While dining here tonight with my 6-year-old daughter, she needed to use the restroom. I spoke with a staff member outside the restrooms who explicitly told me I could use either the men’s or women’s room to assist her; I chose the women’s room based on that permission. Because my daughter ended up needing more time than expected, we were in the stall for several minutes. During this time, a female manager entered and demanded I leave immediately. While I understand the sensitivity of a father being in that space, I was there under the guidance of their own staff to assist a young child. The manager’s insistence that we leave "at once"—to the point where I couldn’t even dry my daughter’s hands properly and had to walk out with wet hands and napkins—felt aggressive and unnecessary. To make matters worse, a male manager continued to stare at me in a way that felt very unwelcoming after we returned to the floor. When we got back to our table, my leftover salad (which I had explicitly asked to be boxed) had been cleared away, and only my fish was packaged. As a regular diner who appreciates the Great American Restaurants brand, this lack of basic hospitality and the "stare down" from management made for a very awkward and upsetting father-daughter date. I hope management can better train their team on how to assist parents with young children and how to handle these situations with more grace.

    We had a large family dinner planned and reserved from several states. The reservation, apparently, is for 2 hours only. We were told that we needed to give up our tables to accommodate another party's reservation, 1 hour in to our stay. We barely finished our dinner when we were told we had 10 minutes to finish and leave as the other party was already waiting. Let me say... the restaurant was not full and other tables were available. We paid our bill, took our remaining beverages and moved to high top tables to finish. To ease the pain, the waiter offered 1 complimentary drink. Upon return of our nieces, the waiter explained that he'd only meant that the drinks applied to 6 in our party of 12. Food was amazing. From appetizers to entrees, everything was delicious. The atmosphere, comfortable and friendly. The rest.... don't bother. Reservation or not, doesn't matter. Personally, I'll choose to spend my money elsewhere.

    My first visit to Coastal Flats at Tysons was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We chose to sit at the bar, which turned out to be a great decision because Jenn, our bartender, was absolutely phenomenal. She was welcoming, attentive, and clearly knew her craft, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. We started with a round of cocktails, and each one was well-balanced and expertly prepared. You could really tell there was care put into every drink. For food, we tried the artichoke dip, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor; definitely a great choice to kick things off. We also ordered the penne pasta with chicken, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the chicken was tender, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. Between the delicious food, great drinks, and Jenn’s outstanding service, this visit set a high bar for future trips. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend stopping by, especially if you can grab a seat at the bar!
