  We’re lucky to have this Food Lion conveniently located less than five miles from our home. Before moving here, I had never really experienced Food Lion, but after shopping at this location for about a year, I’ve become a big fan. The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming. They’ve also always been patient with my two-year-old daughter, who seems to think the grocery store is the perfect place to walk around and play chase! 😂 The food selection is very reasonable, with a good variety and, most importantly, good prices. I Joe kidneys say they won me over because they offered sugar-free ginger beer in the beverage aisle. The store is generally organized and clean, and the customers seem to be friendly, everyday people. I’ve shopped at other supermarkets with similar prices and selections, and one of my biggest frustrations has always been how quickly the produce would go bad. We haven’t had that problem here, which has been a pleasant surprise. After a year of shopping at this location, I can honestly say it has become our go-to grocery store. Definitely recommend it!

  Very disappointing experience. The store says it is open until 11:00 PM, but by 10:30 PM it seemed like they were already shutting down. Two of the four self-checkout stations were closed, creating long lines and unnecessary delays. We waited in line, but none of the employees standing nearby offered any assistance. The manager on duty appeared unconcerned about the long wait and made no effort to help customers. Instead, it felt like they were trying to rush everyone out so they could close early. If your posted hours say you're open until 11:00 PM, customers should be able to expect normal service until then. I hope management improves customer service and staffing during the last hour of business.

  I would have thought becoming an MVP member would not only be encouraged but also easy. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. Two employees directed me to a kiosk that wasn't working. Thinking there had to be another option, I went to the customer service desk and asked if I could sign up there. Instead of assisting me, I was told to use the same blue kiosk. When I explained that it was out of service, the response I received was simply, "Oh well." That response was more concerning than the broken kiosk itself. It made me wonder what other customer issues are met with the same level of indifference. At that point, I decided to put my items back and leave. Sadly, because of this experience, I'll most likely never return.
