When I went to check out, I paid using Apple Pay. I had $83 in my Apple Wallet. The first $25 payment was declined, so I tried it again they said it declined again. What was confusing was that even though the cashier said the payments were declining, I could see the money being deducted from my Apple Wallet and the charges showing as pending. Thinking maybe it was just a glitch, I tried the payment a third time. That one also supposedly declined. By this point, my Apple Wallet had dropped from $83 to $12. 😩 I tried explaining what was happening to the cashier, but they didn’t understand. They kept saying my payment declined I then spoke to the manager, but unfortunately, there was a language barrier, and they basically told me that it never happened and that the payment only went through once. But my question is: what happens to the other two charges ?? I can literally see the pending charges on my end. I’m hoping the other charges reverse, but I’m extremely frustrated with how the situation was handled.
