We were in town for a concert at The Tally Ho Theater on April 11, 2026 and arrived a few hours early, so we started looking for something to eat. We came across this restaurant while walking down the street and decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile and invited to choose our own seating, which was a great start.
We started with the chips and trio of dips. While I am not sure it was quite worth the $9.00 price, it was definitely delicious. The salsas were especially good, and we loved that everything is made in house.
For our meals, I ordered three carne asada street tacos ($17.50) topped with cilantro, onions, lime, and radish, along with beans (I didn't want the rice) My husband ordered three tacos as well,($18.50) pork, chicken, and carne asada. Everything was incredibly flavorful, and we both kept commenting on how good it was.
Our total came to $59.28 after tip. While the food was excellent, I did feel the prices were a bit high for what we received. Six small tacos, a side of beans and rice, and the appetizer. That said, the guacamole was absolutely amazing.
Overall, I would recommend stopping in for a quick bite, especially if you are in the area. However, because of the pricing, I am not sure we would return.
I truly don't understand the 1 star reviews. We didn't experience ANY of the complaints written here. My husband and I try new restaurants all the time and I sometimes refer to myself as a "food snob". The food was absolutely delicious!
