Very bias and was accused of stealing and was called loud and unruly . This store has a unpleasant welcoming and very unprofessional. It's 2026 and racism still exist in this location. Very unwelcoming. I will be contacting cooperate at this location

⭐️⭐️ I’ve been shopping at Food Lion in King George for a long time, and I really don’t want to leave a negative review about my local store, but I feel this needs to be addressed. We’ve had ongoing issues with the freshness of produce, especially berries and other fruit. Even after taking extra measures to properly wash and store everything, some of it has molded within a day. A couple of months ago, we also purchased sodas that tasted off, only to discover they were about a year past their expiration date. Today was especially frustrating. We purchased ground beef on Friday, with an expiration date of August 2. When we went to use it today, August 2, the meat was gray, had clearly spoiled, and smelled terrible. My mom had to make another trip to the store to replace it, using extra gas and time, and the replacement meat cost $2 more. I’m not posting this to bash Food Lion. I’m hoping management will take a closer look at product rotation, expiration dates, and the freshness of the produce and meat. We shop here because it’s our community grocery store, and we’d really like to feel confident in the freshness and quality of the food we’re purchasing.

I just left food lion after being accused of stealing from the hot bar. I was told I didn’t pay for the plate of wings as I was leaving. As you can see it’s on my receipt. It’s never ok to falsely accuse someone and be so confident that you are right. I’m very disappointed in food lion
