I was very excited a new chipotle was opening in our neighborhood. Today was the first time I tried their food, and it's lacking in taste and portion. I'm very disappointed.. Sorry but I'm going back to the Manassas location.

I know they are still new but holy cow this is the best chipotle I have ever been to. The food tasted extra good, the place was clean, and my order was made to order and in quick time. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond my expectations especially the girl with black hair with pink streaks. 10/10 service; I will be back.

Ordered Carry-Out at this location for the first time and was terribly disappointed. My order was a veggie bowl that was just beans and guacamole with way too much sauce dumped on it. My daughter got a bowl with no beans and there were lots of beans. We got two other bowls that were right, considering they only had three ingredients. We at as much as we could and left the rest. Recommendation is to check your order in full (open the meals) to make sure you didn’t get some slop thrown together like I did. We do not recommend this location and will continue going to the location in Gainesville. Gainesville Chipotle is a bit farther but worth it when the food is right.

Stopped by Chipotle to grab dinner for my girlfriend and me. She ordered a steak and barbacoa salad bowl, and I ordered a steak burrito bowl. The first mystery of the evening was the meat portions. We both ordered extra meats, but the servings were so small I started wondering if the steak and barbacoa were being rationed for a national emergency. I ended up paying for double meat on both bowls just so we’d have enough protein to actually identify. My girlfriend’s salad was especially impressive. It started as a salad, but somewhere along the assembly line it abandoned that dream. By the time it was finished, the lettuce was buried so deep it qualified as an archaeological discovery. Then came the grand finale. My girlfriend asked for salad dressing. The employee said okay. She asked again, just to be safe. The employee said okay again. We got home, opened the bag, and apparently the dressing decided it wasn’t ready to leave Chipotle yet. It’s probably still sitting there wondering what could have been. So let me get this straight: We paid extra for double meat because there wasn’t enough meat, and the salad arrived without the one thing that makes a salad worth eating. At that point my girlfriend wasn’t eating a salad—she was just eating disappointment on a bed of lettuce. The food was delicious, but between the disappearing meat and the Houdini-level vanishing act performed by the salad dressing, the experience felt less like ordering dinner and more like participating in a scavenger hunt.

I decided to try this location as it is closer to my home than the Gainesville location.  The results were mixed.  Based upon the below results, I could only give the rating 2 stars due to taste. Pros: The barbacoa bowl tasted exactly like I expected for Chipotle, though a bit on the spicier side but no complaints from me there. Cons: The base menu prices are more expensive for each item I ordered (barbacoa bowl + extra meat) than the Gainesville location (4 miles away) with no discernible reason.  (barbacoa bowl = $0.25 higher, extra meat = $0.40 higher) The portions provided were light compared to other Chipotle locations. They didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl with rice without asking for extra rice.  The extra barbacoa portion was equivalent to a normal barbacoa portion at other Chipotle locations, only $6.10 more expensive. The rice was a bit lumpy, it wasn't mixed very well.
