My husband and I stopped by there for dinner this evening and he ordered the ribeye fixed to med temperature with A1 and I ordered the 6oz sirloin combo with the coconut shrimp. I requested my steak to be fixed to a medium well temperature. When our food came out his was fine but no A1 and my steak was burnt on the top and rare on the inside. I sent my steak back and asked for a new steak since mine was burnt on the outside. The waitress said that was the seasoning that was burnt again I asked for a new steak since cooking that steak more would burn the outside even more. She said that she would see what she could do. My husband asked for A1 again and she said that she would bring it out. Five minutes went by then she finally brought “A1” out but it did not taste like A1 at all. When we questioned her about it she then said they no longer carry A1, the Outback now has there own sauce made for them by A1. We should have been told this when he ordered the steak to begin with because he would not have ordered the steak. My steak came out and they just cook f my original steak more and it was burnt even more now it was crispy and fixed to a well done. The manager came out and tried to tell my husband that the A1 tasted the same and IT TASTES NOTHING LIKE A1!! Therefore he would not eat the steak, the mgt offered to remake mine again and I told him just to take it off my bill and charge me the only for the shrimp. Hr took off my meal but I was still charged for the creamy horseradish sauce and the mushrooms for my steak that were no use to me! I called a different Outback and the manager there said it was news to him about the new A1 sauce because at his restaurant they still have the original A1. So I paid $43.00 for food that we really could not even eat. We will not be back at that location.

When someone ask for a1 you should probably tell them that you no longer have it before you let them order their food. You would think when paying $30+ for a meal you at least get a choice on what sauce you can get. Your steak sauce taste like crap. DON’T BE CHEAP! BRING BACK A1

Although the speed of our food wasn't the best tonight, our server Tia did an amazing job in taking care of both myself and my sister tonight. She was very respectful, organized, and one of the most customer service oriented waitresses that I have seen work in a restaurant. Definitely deserves a raise or some sort of promotion for her hard work and dedication.

Server constantly pushed me on upsells such as asking several times if i want dessert and I repeatedly said no on a few occasions it became very annoying when the manager approached me and i gave him my feedback his response was thats her job I told the manager that his people need to learn how to read the room and understand body language and tone and not too be too pushy when a customer says no multiple times before he could accept my constructive criticism his response once again was that part of their job is to upsell customers. He could honestly care less about what I had to say and his focus was making sure his servers upsell customers

We dined in today around 6:40 on a Saturday server was doing his best looked like maybe still in training no manager onsite or came by table took an hour for horrible food! $100 and a steakhouse can’t even cook a steak portions are small looked like kids menu and horrible flavor salty and under cooked I will not return if a manager would of checked on me I would of complained on site and not left a review! No wonder everyone says go to Texas Roadhouse in JMU area lesson learned
