  We had such a good meal here! I’m picky about Cuban sandwiches after living in South Tampa, but this one was legit my husband ordered it and we both were blown away. My son crushed his burger with fried egg and onion straws, and even my chicken dish had amazing flavor. Great food all around. We’ll absolutely be back.

  I really wanted to love this funky burger restaurant in downtown Harrisonburg. And there were many things to love: the delightfully upbeat and just the right amount attentive staff, the crispy on the outside, soft and mellow on the inside fried plantains. but the overall experience and ratings were dragged down by the ambience, in particular having to walk past a load of assorted trash piled up on shelves to get to our table, and my Chop Chop salad with pork that yes, was shredded as advertised, but then crumbed and refried into a greasy, porky hashbtown. And served atop a mound of rice. All of which could be authentically Cuban - I don’t know , I’ve never been, but wasn’t what I expected in choosing the “healthy” option. My husband went with the Americano burger which he reported to be just an average burger (his fault for making such an unadventurous choice) so no ratings redemption there.

  Ordered take out because I'm traveling with K9 (as always). Short term parking in front (CHECK); Fantastic communication (CHECK); Fantastic, amazing tasty food (CHECK); Excellent customer service (CHECK). Can't recommend enough for takeout- food is absolutely beyond amazing- but takeout experience is also important and definitely also 10/10 stars

  Cuban Burger is one of my favorite spots in downtown Harrisonburg. The location is perfect, nestled right in the heart of downtown with plenty of convenient parking options, including the nearby parking deck and additional parking just a short walk away. The food truly has something for everyone. If you’re looking for authentic Cuban flavors, the Cuban sandwiches are outstanding, and the house hot sauces are a must-try. For those wanting healthier options, the Chop Chop bowls offer great choices with steak, chicken, shrimp, and vegan selections. And if you’re craving a burger, Cuban Burger serves what I consider the best burger in town. Their bar program is equally impressive. Whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing mojito made with fresh mint or a handcrafted cocktail, they consistently deliver. As an Old Fashioned fan, I especially appreciate that they serve it with a clear large ice cube—a small detail that shows real thought and attention to quality. They also keep things interesting with rotating drink specials and creative cocktail combinations. Don’t leave without trying the chicharrones (pork rinds) and the fries. Everything is made with care, and the menu truly offers something for everyone. What really sets Cuban Burger apart is the hospitality. The owners and staff are welcoming, friendly, and genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. Highly recommended for great food, excellent cocktails, and a fun downtown atmosphere. Five stars all the way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
