  Waited 10 minutes just to place an order in a completely empty bar. Was told they dont have any american cheese for a burger i ordered already with cheese on it. Pretty ridiculous that a burger place doesnt have a widely ordered cheese in the middle of the afternoon then comes the excuse of they just went to get it and theyll be back lol. Burger quality was pretty trash, meat didnt have any flavor and something i could make in my home very easily. Prices are honestly something they should be ashamed of. Charged 30$ for like 8 yucca fries a single burger patty and canned soda. Only came here from a suggestion from a friend and saw that it had 4.6 stars but take that with a grain of salt because look at the location that theyre located. As if they have some experienced palate. Even the condiment i got was clearly way too old to still be handed out. Disgusting.

  I went to Cuban Burger in Harrisonburg with high expectations, but the experience was very disappointing. I ordered chicharrón expecting traditional Cuban pork chicharrón, but what they serve is more like chicharrón de viento (puffed pork skin), which is not the same at all. On top of that, it was very spicy, which is not typical for authentic Cuban chicharrón. We also ordered vaca frita, and it had no seasoning at all. It tasted like boiled meat that was quickly fried, with no flavor. It completely lacked the bold, well-seasoned taste that Cuban food is known for. Honestly, it felt like everything was cooked with very low salt,almost like the kitchen is avoiding seasoning altogether. Overall, the food lacked salt and proper seasoning, which is very basic for this type of cuisine. The only positive thing I can say is that the service was good and the staff was friendly. But unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations at all. I would not come back.

  This place was a hugh let down. I was super excited to find a place that had pressed Cuban sandwiches. This place failed majorly. I called ahead and placed my order, I still had a long wait for 2 sandwiches and the place was completely empty. The sandwiches weren't even put on a press, they weren't crispy and the ham was just a thick rubber slab, also they didn't have any pickles. Ridiculous!!!! Waste of 32$ on 2 plain sandwiches without any sides or a drink. The place being empty should have been a sign for me!
