  Freezing cold in here. Menu is very confusing for first timers. The portions are ridiculously small and the workers are not helpful. Overpriced for very little topping selections and portions. Also place was very dirty, floors, tables, and chairs. Go to Chipotle instead.

  i was there on Sunday and Dani G was great! she was kind and was patient with me explaining the food since it was my first time at Cava. super clean location too and the other employees seemed kind. great management and thanks to Dani i will be coming back!

  I visited for the first time over the weekend, and I was truly impressed with how the young lady handled my food after I said I have a gluten allergy. She made sure there was no cross contamination and even alerted the other line workers. Thank you so much for looking out. The food was really good and it's a nice healthy option. I definitely plan to go back.

  Someone ordered a doordash purchase using my credit card in another state.. I called the restaurant immediately and was told the order had not been picked up yet.I asked them not to distribute the food.. I was told that they would not give the food to the doordash driver. The gentleman that I talked to over the phone said that he would notify his district manager because he did not know how to handle the situation being it was his first time dealing with this kind of issue.. He took down my information and told me that I would receive a phone call back as soon as he talked with the district manager to see how this situation needed to be handled.They never bothered to call me back When I called them back the district manager proceeded to tell me that they went ahead and distributed the food knowing it was a fraudulent transaction.. that they wasn't authorized to stop the theft. Being that they were already paid from my credit card. therefore they didn't feel it was necessary to hold back the food from someone they knew was committing credit card fraud.. I was told to just deal with my credit card company.. I did not ask this company to reimburse me for the fraudulent transaction just asked that they didn't reward the thief.. I can only conclude they didn't want to lose a credit card scamming customer.. I guess business is business right?Bad Business still gets paid!!

  So I decided to try Cava for the first time. I didn’t know what to get or what would be good together in a bowl. I told the young lady “this is my first time here and don’t know what I should get”. Immediately she said “I got you”. She was so patient and kind, they all were actually. She explained what pairs good together, what certain things taste like, what she recommends etc. In the middle of her finishing my bowl, my granddaughter had to use the restroom. I asked could she just bag it up and I’ll be right back. Well when I returned expecting to grab my food and pay. She handed me the bag and said it’s on me, please come back and tell me what you think. I was such in awe! I thanked her, it really made my day and the bowl was so good. This establishment has very kind and helpful employees. Thanks, truly appreciate it! This was at the VCC location in Glen Allen.
