- ASA SawyerAug 6, 20261.0I have been to the Chick-fil-A location several times as I am in the area often. I am disabled, have a handicap tag, and issues with ambulation. I pulled into the Gainesville, VA location and was unable to access the Designated Handicap parking located near the front of the store. I was blocked by a line of cars waiting for the drive-through and a barrier of bright yellow thin cones (used to separate the two drive-through lanes. I sat there for 5 minutes not being able to access the handicap parking. I had to park my vehicle in the right most lane and physically pick up multiple parking cone barriers and move them to the side. I was rudely approached by a white, blond, young lady working the outside drive-though. She informed me that I could not remove the cones and gestured at me not to do so. I asked her, "Where are handicap people supposed to park if they cannot access the handicap parking?" She just stood there glaring at me. Another customer was nice enough to let my vehicle cross the inner lane to gain access to the parking space. I parked. I made sure that I pulled up as far as possible touching the yellow bumper curb. I was in the "Van Assessable" handicap spot as I was unable to navigate to another option. I exited my vehicle and immediately noticed that the Handicap spot was wide enough but my vehicle hung well into the drive through lane. This is concerning as my vehicle or any vehicle like an actual van would cause issues. I entered the building and walked to the front counter and asked for the manager. I was informed by the white, brown haired man, that he was in fact an assistant manager. I explained the above situation and my concerns. Breakdown of his response: 1. They are aware of the issues. They are not responsible. 2. Nothing can be fixed because: "The city mandated the parking and drive-through lane configuration". 3. They are in "compliance" with the City 4. "Yes, we understand a vehicle is at risk of being stuck while parked in the handicap spot because of the short parking spot". 5. Mentioned the rude attitude from the associate outside and their reluctance to let me park in the handicap spot. NO Acknowledgement of their rude behavior or the fact I am handicap and that is what the spots are for. I took video of the entire outside configuration, making detailed comments with regard to the parking and my vehicles location in the spot. I also documented the drive-through lanes. Please note: Almost humorous, after I parked the vehicle, they shifted all of the cones in the drive-though lane approximately two feet to allow for vehicles to pass by my vehicle. Upon leaving the business and after witnessing my taking the video, several employees removed the barriers (And YES, they are barriers) to allow for my vehicle to exit the premises. This representation from employees is very discouraging and not what I normally have experienced at any other location. Do not eat here if you require any handicap parking

Do I have to say how I was staring at the sandwich with each bite I took, it was served with a nice hot biscuit that kept the chicken/egg held tightly, muy delicicioso to the extreme indeed! And the spicy, was just enough to remind you that it's there, not overwhelming, just perfect for my taste buds😋
