A major issue is that a significant amount of added sugar isn’t clearly disclosed on the menu. For something marketed as a “healthy” drink, it didn’t feel healthy at all. On top of that, no one at the counter asked whether I wanted additional boatload of sugar in a drink that was already naturally sweet from the fruit. The chain itself hides the fact that it adds sugar. When you look at the menu there is no mention of any additives (which are ingredients really). Avocado is listed the top ingredient but when you taste the smoothie it’s sugar with no Avocado taste for example. So unfortunately I had to throw away the large drink because I just wasn’t able to consume it. I don’t understand why though… not everyone enjoys the taste of sugar or extra sweetened beverages. I personally am disgusted by that much sugar.
