  Had both a breakfast and a lunch meals. Double thick bacon, spectacular grits, and a super tender and delicious brisket sandwich are worth mentioning. This is a charity organization so there aren't many frills, but the restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is really good.

  My family and I dined in for brunch and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was warm, professional and very friendly. The food was excellent and great quality. The atmosphere was very inviting and we will definitely return.

  We were looking for a local spot on our drive up from FL, to DC., and I surely, picked well. I’m diabetic and was looking for Southern food that’s also healthy. HOPE had it all. Brisket, chicken wings, pork chops all were tasty but not greasy. Collards were.perfect. Corn cakes was my splurg. Also the space was very clean and I liked how adaptable the seating is. Also had outdoor seating. My service dog was also welcomed.
