  We came and sat at the bar between four and 430 there were apparently two other regulars I got my drink really fast it took forever for my friend to get his drink I be ironic to find out this was because he was black it seemed to take 15 to 20 minutes for him to get his drink and she kept saying she’d be back with his drink I remind you there were only two other couples in there that appeared to be regular and they were getting their stuff and wine refilled really quick then when my friend asked for ranch she was again another five minutes to get that and when the place started to get crowded people were getting their drinks and everything really quick. She also the bartender also had commented I don’t need any help I can handle everything myself which her personality was excellent she was nice but she clearly needed help if you can’t get an alcoholic drink out in 15 minutes then there’s a problem. And again it wasn’t busy and I don’t know if what the real reason is but when it got crowded she seemed to pick up the pace the food was phenomenal but the service was just unfortunately not very good When we went to pay the bill it seemed to also take forever

  We came in for an early dinner on mother’s day around 5pm. They were offering happy hour on Sunday which was great for my sister and I and the place was busy but we still felt it was a great atmosphere. After placing our order we waited a bit longer for our food than normal (the kitchen had a rush of orders and had gotten behind understandably) but I can say the waitress we had and the manager were very great about checking in with us and making sure we didn’t feel forgotten (cannot say enough about these two absolutely wonderful). They were very helpful with our bill and the restaurant even gave out a flower and a mother’s day card for every mother which was so sweet! Will definitely be coming back!!!

  We just had among the best dining experiences of our lifetimes! Kris, our server, was professional, personable and uber-attentive. While she confided she was “new” at her position here, she clearly demonstrates people skills and high-quality service acumen to be among the best servers *anywhere*, including top shelf fine dining establishments! Supported by her managers, Liz and Amanda, Kris made our Fredericksburg Carrabbas wedding anniversary celebration marvelous! —Bill and Linda Colosimo

  When I visit my friend in Fredericksburg, VA, we always visit this Carrabbas for dinner. It is usually busy so we try to go on a week night, but this time we went on a Saturday night. As we walked up to the door, I noticed something in the outdoor dining area that looked like a dead, wet black cat. Not appetizing! We walked in and it was freezing cold in the restaurant, mainly because there was only 1-2 tables of diners. It took a while to get seated because they said they let their servers go. Once we were seated, we discovered we were given 2 different menus. We ordered and my friend ordered an entree with broccoli as her side. The server came back to inform us they were out of broccoli. He offered asparagus or spinach, both an additional cost. They did not remove the extra charge even though it was not our fault. I ordered the meatballs and ricotta. I get this at my Carrabbas all the time. I usually get 4 meatballs, but this time I only got 2. Just as well because they tasted weird. Overall it was truly the worst experience ever at this chain.
