  I used to come here almost every weekend because the food was delicious, the servers were very pleasant, and the food was a great price for what you get. I would always have leftovers to take home for me and my family of three people. We would always have food to take home after we ate there. The past two times I have come here. The food portions are way less than they used to be yet they take longer to prepare and come to the table. Not to mention, I ordered the same thing every time, the Mixto platter with steak, shrimp and rice. The price used to be 3495 for the plate but now it is over $48 for less food. The past two times I’ve had no leftovers to take home and I leave still hungry. My appetite has not changed. Victor has changed. It’s very simple, less food but yet you get to spend more money. I know the economy sucks and everything is more costly, but I would think as a business such as theirs, nothing is more costly to them than losing their diners and not having anybody in your business. I noticed this past weekend when I was there, there is usually a lot of people on the weekend and that place is packed in the evenings. At 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday this place was empty besides me and three other families. That should tell you something like it did me. Not to mention I almost put my normal $40 tip on top of the tab until I saw that they are automatically putting their own chip on the check for 25%. So this time I only left $10 however it’s the last $10 tip and the last time I will ever walk in that door. When you serve good food at a reasonable price and then drastically change the price and the amount of food you are delivering to the customer. You better expect to lose business. They lost me and my family and I’m sure they lost other people as well. The quality of the food has gone downhill as well. I don’t know if new management took over or if Mr. Victor got amnesia about how to treat his customers and community. When you want people to come back and you want new customers, you keep the things that are good the same way that they are or you make them better. You don’t make things worse, with less quantity, and then charge more. An outrageous amount more. Ladies and gentlemen pay attention to your check. There is already a 25% tip added on your check.

  Very disappointing experience. I have a disability and was with my trained service dog, but the staff asked me for “approval” before allowing us to sit down. They clearly were not properly trained on ADA service-animal rules. I also asked to speak with the manager, but the manager never came out. I like the food, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable and very disrespectful.
