- CMCandace MillerJun 26, 20261.0to me, a really sad place...PLEASE STAFF ONE CHECKOUT COUNTER IN THE EVENING! I am senior and never find checkout staffed in the evening when I stop by on my bike. The 4U coupons glitch every time, even tho I synced the phone numbers as instructed. The self checkout once charged me double and am reluctant to use it even with help. I have to steel myself every time I go in for what may go wrong, including prices. Sometimes customer service is staffed but hate traipsing back and forth with whatever I'm trying to get. Some of the staff are wonderful, in spite of atmosphere in what feels like a dying store. I always leave wondering, what in the world is going on here? Is Corporate headquarters just cutting way back on costs? Can't even tell you how frustrated I am.

- GJGarrett JagtianiMay 17, 20261.05/17/26: The parking lot and rear of the store located at 7397 Route 29 (Lee Hwy) is littered with trash and garbage from Safeway. Pretty clear who it belongs to. This is a recurring problem with this store and Fairfax County Code Compliance will be contacted whenever trash is observed in this way. They also don't cut the grass or maintain around the fire hydrant along Stuart Drive. This area is owned by Safeway and not the shopping center so Safeway is responsible.
