- DHDavid HuSep 17, 20261.0I did the buy one get one free deal. Did not get my second burger. Fine, so I ask them to make another one. First guy rolls his eyes and waves me to the manager. Manager says I have to order again. I tell her I did the promo and already paid for it. She doesn’t believe me and gives me a mini talk on how to do the promo, I tell her multiple times “I know, I did that” but she ignores me and keeps repeating. After the third time she says she can’t do it manually and I have to submit another order. She can refund the first one. Great, extra steps but works. I attempt to apply the coupon code again but it doesn’t work because I already applied it to the order they messed up. The manager thinks I have used it before and I say I didn’t. She insisted I did which upset me. I show her my order history which has 3 ever orders, two of which were years ago. She finally rings up the order manually and I pay again. So this whole time the “I can’t do it manually u have to submit it online” was a lie. Both of our times get wasted. Also the first burger got thrown out. Next time just fire up another burger rq?! I’m more upset they assumed I’m acting in bad faith (applying coupon code more than once, getting eyes rolled at) or stupid (needing multiple times to do promo). Those shouldn’t be your first assumptions with a customer. Good faith only works when both sides subscribe to it. I like to think I was pleasant at the start.
