- PYPatrick YoonSep 19, 20261.0I understand that it was BOGO Burger Day and that the restaurant was extremely busy, but waiting an hour and a half for online orders is completely unacceptable. I placed two separate orders, and somehow my second order was delivered 20 minutes before my first order. I even spoke to an employee and specifically let them know that I had two orders waiting. By the time I finally received the first order, some of the food was completely cold. There were probably over 80 people inside the Five Guys, so I understand that it was a busy day. However, what was most frustrating was the lack of communication. Employees would look directly at customers waiting for their orders and not acknowledge them or provide any updates. I understand being overwhelmed during a promotion, but better communication and organization would have made the experience much less frustrating.

This is the second time this has happened and will be the last. Either hire more people or hire more competent people or at least don’t tell me my food will be ready in 15 minutes.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
