- DBDavid ByrneMay 22, 20264.0Definitely not the best Safeway. The shopping center is very old and outdated. The store itself desperately needs a makeover. It’s a small location compared to most others so the selection is very limited. If this review were solely based on management, I would give two stars. We had an issue once with an incorrect price and it took more than five minutes to just find a manager and then they had an attitude. Despite that, I’ve never had a problem with food quality here, which is why I gave it four stars instead of three. Plenty of parking for the store.

- NNnickMay 10, 20261.0I had one of the worst shopping experiences ever at Safeway today. The employee who helped me was extremely unprofessional, unfriendly, and clearly not properly trained. They barely responded to questions, seemed confused about the discounts, and acted annoyed the entire time. At checkout, I specifically asked if the discount was applied correctly because the total looked wrong. The employee confidently told me, “Trust me, it’s correct.” Turns out when I got home and checked the receipt carefully, the discount had actually been removed and I was overcharged. What makes this even worse is the attitude — careless service combined with complete overconfidence. During checkout the employee was also mumbling under their breath the whole time, making customers uncomfortable and wondering if they were talking badly about them. A company that allows this level of poor customer service, incompetence, and lack of professionalism seriously needs better employee training and management. Very disappointing experience. I will think twice before shopping here again.
