  As a lot of reviews have mentioned, this is a former Shoppers Food Warehouse so the layout is still the same, but it’s Safeway lol. THE DEETS: The store itself was very clean and nicely stocked. I came in looking specifically for some cards and a couple snacks as a gift. I did find cards did not find the snacks I was looking for, but they are very specific and they would’ve been in a Health food section which I did not find here but the one thing the store does have which is amazing and beautiful it really large international food section so that’s awesome and unique for most stores chain stores at least. I did not have a single employee look at me or say anything and the person at the customer service actually had their back leaning over on their phone, and the people at the registers didn’t say a peep either. Other than that it is a decent store to shop in, and I don’t think your grocery shopping experience necessarily requires you to be spoken to, but customer service would be nice at least in acknowledgment when you are in front of someone; this says that you’re glad we’re here cause without customers, what do you have lol!

  Excellent customer service! Yasmin and Mildred always make my shopping experience at Safeway a wonderful one. They are friendly, helpful, and consistently provide outstanding customer service.

  Absolutely horrible. The woman on the register tonight was horrific. After waiting 15 minutes in line (they only had one register open and there were 4 people in front of me, and the woman was incredibly slow) I walked up and said hello. No response. Then I asked her if she wanted me to take the food out of the basket or leave it in, and she rudely said “take it out.” She rung everything up, SO SLOWLY (if there’s a manager, watch the video of your cashier from 5:30-6:00) then said nothing as I paid. I told her to have a good night, she said nothing in response. Went up to a young man after and asked if he was a manager, and he simply said “what can I do for you.” I told him that we come here all the time and you guys are usually great, but this woman was so horribly rude. He said “thank you” and nothing else. No “I’m sorry for the situation” etc. Will never go back. Overpriced anyways, but convenient because we live so close. But, no matter - I won’t be back.

  It's frustrating now shopping at this location. I usually have a decent experience. But lately the deli service sucks. You guys are more expensive than other stores but i still come for convenience and selection. The short woman behind the deli counter tonight was having trouble with pricing. This was around 6:06pm store was not busy. I had patience and waited i stood there at least 10 minutes. She never acknowledged me or said give me few moments. She was having Issues what i think with the scale and pricing. She went to the back and brought back a clip board , tried another scale and had the other customer take a picture of the sales tag. Another employee his name was Brian walked up was doing tempature checks didn't acknowledged me or ask if I needed help. He seen me, looked right at me and ignored me. I seen him make face when he opened the display case and steam his his face. Not one of them called and ask for help. There was another lady there she walked off frustrated. She was there before me I don't understand why if she was having issues to call for a supervisor or team member to help. Or why the other employee called for help. I had no choice to change course and get something else and leave. This has happened before. I know this sounds petty but the money we spend now at your store i would expect better service.
