  I ran in for a couple of items and ended up discovering some excellent weekly deals. The produce looked freshly stocked, and the cashier worked efficiently while still being friendly. It turned a quick errand into a surprisingly pleasant shopping trip.

  PLEASE fix your scales at self checkout. Way too sensitive and the error “please place item in bag” flashes non stop. Any light item like chips it thinks you’re not scanning. I had it pop up 10 times in one visit today for different items

  While I was checking out at self check out, I witnessed an employee speak very rudely to another customer who was simply asking for assistance. The employee told the customer, “Go to the register if you are not able to do self checkout. I don’t want to see you here anymore.” I found this behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I remained quiet and continued scanning my items without requesting any help. As I was finishing my last two items, the same employee approached me and said, “You too, I don’t want you to come over here anymore,” despite the fact that I had not interacted with him or caused any issue. I responded by asking why he was approaching me when I was not bothering him or asking for assistance. I regularly shop at this location two to three times per week and frequently use self-checkout without any problems. I then went to customer service to report the incident. The representative apologized for the employee’s behavior; however, the situation escalated further when the employee approached us during the complaint, and the customer service representative had to physically hold him back due to his aggressive behavior. This was extremely concerning and made the situation even more uncomfortable. I explained that this was the first complaint I have made, but if another incident like this occurs, I will need to escalate the matter directly with management/corporate. Customers should be treated with respect and professionalism at all times.

  Seems great.. Had apples and bananas... But not water in gallon jugs. Seems odd! It's Stop and Shop in the north! 😜
