Absolutely outstanding Love’s Travel Stop. This is exactly what a truck stop should be, especially for those of us who spend most of our lives out on the road. From the moment I pulled in, I could tell this location was being taken care of properly. The property was clean, organized, well maintained, and overall just had a much better atmosphere than a lot of travel stops you come across after driving hundreds of miles.
The biggest thing for me is cleanliness, and this Love’s absolutely delivered. The restrooms were spotless and looked like the employees actually stay on top of them throughout the day instead of waiting until they become a disaster. That might sound like a small thing to somebody traveling in a car, but when you’re a professional driver living on the road, finding a genuinely clean restroom makes a huge difference.
The showers were another highlight. Everything was clean, the water pressure was excellent, the temperature stayed consistent, and the shower room itself felt properly maintained. Nothing is better after spending hours behind the wheel than being able to take a good hot shower somewhere that actually feels clean and comfortable. This location definitely gets that right.
There is also a great selection inside the store. Whether you need drinks, snacks, food, basic supplies, something for the truck, or something you forgot to pack, there’s plenty to choose from. Having Arby’s and Dunkin’ available is another big plus because it gives drivers some options without having to leave the property and figure out somewhere else to park a tractor-trailer.
The staff deserves recognition too. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and helpful. Good customer service can completely change your experience at a truck stop, and the employees here made the place feel welcoming rather than making you feel like you’re inconveniencing somebody just by being there.
Truck parking is another huge factor for me, and I appreciate having a location that actually accommodates professional drivers. Like most busy truck stops, the parking lot can get hectic when everyone starts coming in for the night, so drivers still need to pay attention and give each other room. But overall, having plenty of truck parking along with fuel, showers, food, restrooms, supplies, and everything else in one place makes this a very convenient stop.
I also appreciate the little things, including the dog park for drivers traveling with their pets. Features like that show some thought was actually put into what people living and traveling on the road need.
I’ve been to plenty of truck stops across the country, and you quickly learn that locations carrying the same name can still be completely different experiences. This is one of the Love’s locations that represents the brand well. Clean facilities, good showers, friendly employees, useful amenities, plenty of options inside, and a property that appears to be taken seriously by management.
If you’re traveling through the area—especially if you’re a truck driver looking for somewhere to fuel, shower, grab something to eat, and take a break—I would absolutely recommend stopping here. Keep up the great work. Locations like this make life on the road a little easier, and that deserves recognition. Five stars from me.
