  Had high hopes for this places but was met with alot of uncertainty. Can't complain about our waitress because she was phenomenal. She went up and beyond. Stopped in out our way through heading back home to NC. We always like to try new places and normal always get several things on the menu so we can try new things with a variety. We ordered the breakfast donuts which were good but as far as our main course it wasnt as fortunate. My wife's food was amazing and tasted great other than her eggs were still alittle runny considering they were suppose to be scrambled. Mine were over cooked and the cheese wasn't even melted in the eggs which made no sense. My main course was the chicken & waffle sandwich which is suppose to be one of their main fan favorites. Well the first bite or 2 wasn't terrible except it was kind of flavorless. It wasn't until my third bite when I realized the center of the chicken was still pink and cold🤢. Of course I cut into the other half of my sandwich and it was fine but the one half was undercooked big time. Unfortunately I told the waitress which I felt bad about and I told her I wasn't mad at her bc it wasn't her fault. She offered to have the plate remade but I refused for honestly I was full from grubbing off my wife's plate and from the appetizer. But little to my knowledge I didn't realize until I asked for the check how great our waitress really was.... not only did she take the plate off of our ticket but she also discounted our entire meal. I told her she did not have to do that for we still were willing to pay for our food in full because we still ate. But she insisted. Honestly just because of her kindness and caring compassion if we're ever back through the area we will have to try the place out again.
