  The sugar cookies have always been my favorite, but I think the recipe has changed and they’re using lower-quality ingredients. The cookie didn’t taste like anything, and the frosting tasted and felt like wax and was honestly absolutely disgusting, and I hope it gets fixed immediately. There was only one tiny sliver of chicken in the center of the sandwich. I didn’t even receive half of my items. Horrible, disappointing experience!

  My husband and I usually love grabbing Panera as a quick and easy dinner on busy weeknights or when we don’t feel like cooking. The Culpeper location is definitely starting to slip though. Over the last few months we have often got things left out from our order, like they aren’t checking as they are packing (receipt never has checkmarks next to items like other Panera locations). The cherry on top of it all was the last two weeks. Got Panera for dinner because it was a busy weeknight once last week, and once this week. Both times, either my husband or I got food poisoning and ended up having to stay home sick the following day. This location needs a major refresher course on not only hospitality, but ESPECIALLY on food safety and food handling. Needless to say we will be taking an indefinite break from this location.

  Alexis was amazing at Panera Bread! She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish. She handled everything quickly and with a great attitude, even during a busy time. Customer service like hers makes a big difference, and she truly represents Panera well. Thank you, Ava, for the excellent service—I’ll definitely be back!
